They are good at what they do.... probably the only "true" pirates in the game. The are pirates to "pirates" and to the rest of EVE.

The Original Joker team are some of the best pvp'ers in the game. Jexter and Fist are legendary round Pure Blind Region.
They are affiliated with no-one and kill everyone.
Nice guys to chat too, bad guys if you wanna stay alive.

I reckon they are Dev's, some of the stuff they pull off in their screenshots and stories bit of their forum is just nuts.
Trust me they are Dev alts 
On a serious note, they are the one foe I really never want to have to fight cos it would be a guaranteed loss of my ship. They are a potent little PvP corp

Ran into them once when I was doing a ferry mission for the corps.
Shocked me a bit too.
I got away with my ship, just ding'ed my shields. I didn't even have a warp-core stabalizer... they must have been <1 sec from scrambling me...
I have never heard of any of them getting caught alone. Seems to me they know where/how to hunt.... That day, I was in a .4 system.
I don't know what they are doing now, with the sentry guns everywhere but 0.0.
Also, they fly scorps exclusively. If you think you are gonna hit them, be ready to pulse jam caldari, and you should do ok.

You're not correct in saying they fly exclusively Scorpions. They fly all sorts of ships just from what I've seen on their forums.

I have never heard of a Jokers kill not in 0.0 space, and they all have good security ratings, so I doubt they care.

hehe .. my first PvP experience was with Jexter and Fist somewhere up near Ewok-k (whatever it's called) back on 20 July 03.
My Maller escaped with 1 unit of hull remaining. To cap it off .. when I managed to warp out .. Autopilot took me straight back to the gate. How I managed to get out alive that day I don't know.
In some respects it was horrifying .. but at the same time it woke me up to the real reason I was playing the game.

P.S. the first time we killed Fist, it did take 16 ships to get him...

Although I've never gone up against them due to their distant location, they get respect simply from what I've seen/heard.
True pirates, civilized, and skilled.. dangerous combination.

They are indeed true and skilled pirates, but not any exceptional fighters. They will strike at you when they know they can get you, and evade you if they know they can't; but that's how life is for a professional pirate. Their reputation seems largely based on their movie, which by the way is excellent but they have little, as far as I know, military feats to boast off.

Yea, that movie is pretty old... When they released that one there kinda only was archain's "Dark empire" video out.
I think I've read somewhere that they are working on a new video to be release soon(tm).

Yes they are a true small pirate corp attacking everything they can get. We asked them severall times for a NAP but they dont like NAPs and are totally unpolitical even to all other pirate corps. So they lost some BS and cruisers and we lost some BS an cruisers - no whining, no carebearing, no other **** - just pure pvp-fun. Nice guys using Tranquility instead of Chaos  Forget M0o - these guys in Jokers corp are real outlaws.

Damn straight... someone said earlier in this post that this is the way the game ought to be ..and I couldnt agree with that more... They take on crazy numbers and never boast about it.. Fist in god-mode

Small professional pirate corp.. Which imo works bets, look at the old m0o when they was'nt so big (Not to say they degraded in PVP skills now) they were 1337. Boils down to communication and knowing who does what in battle and who u can relay on

I had an encounter with Jokers long time ago, 3 vs 1 they had to run... We tried to take them out many times, but they are good at avoiding fights, which I guess makes them good pirates. Other than that they do seem like a good bunch of mature players.

Without buttering up there ego's too much. They are a very very good PvP corp. Only a small number of them but extremely experienced and well organised.

I have meet them several times. Never any smack. I have fought them once and on that day we killed the BB that was there (we were in a small army of frigs). The other time that sticks was when they promised not to shoot me. We flew for about five systems, me in an indy (shame on me) and two Jokers in BS`. Yes they kept their word.
Respect is due to Jokers.
