Agreed...those were come good fights from about Christmas up until early March last year before it got all blobby with capships.

Yea there was some rabble rabble about FIX not fighting, but after a certain point it becomes utterly pointless to try and mount what will end up being a lackluster defense. When we dropped some towers in I1Y and they weren't in reinforced the next day, we knew it was all over but the inevitable grind to clearly FIX towers. Pretty certain we've taken Z-U at this point (am at work, didnt get to check this morning), which leaves FIX with ED- and 49-U. ED won't hold long, and from what I saw IAC/RA/Goons were around 49-u, so they'll likely take it before we can get there.
Overall I think it's not a failure cascade (overused btw) as much as they had a lot of regular gang pressure on them, and once it changed from roaming gangs to 100 member bs gangs smashing down tower defenses they just couldn't cope. There was an animated defense of the entrance in Querious from our staging area but once we start knocking towers down, the 30-40man defense gangs disappeared pretty quick. I think given what they were facing, FIX did what anyone else with a brain would do and saved what they could before it was too late. Props for the fights provided so far and the future ones, I know there's some smack on both sides but its been pretty amicable so far.

A few more days later, it does seem as though the death knell is being sounded for Fix. Not as an Alliance, but as the holders of Querious. The numbers of coalition ships in the area is simply too much for Fix alone to deal with. And as mentioned, Bob isn't going to come to save them this time.
Fix, I submit that Bob not saving you is actually a good thing. I fought in the pre-Bob pet days as a proud member of Fix, even losing a carrier in Fix's defense. The alliance that was Fix at that time was proud and fought well against many other alliances. When the only route to saving Querious became to cuddle up to Bob, my corp left Fix.
I understand that submitting to Bob was the only option to keep Querious at that time. This time, Bob cannot save you so Querious will fall. After Bob is dead, Fix may undergo a resurgance and reclaim Querious - I don't know of course, but they may.
I've said it before: Fix is too good to be a Bob pet. Its a shame we have had to burn Querious just to break the leash that Bob held. But now that we have, I hope Fix takes the opportunity to end its relationship with Bob and become its own master once again.

Small update: Z-UZZN, Arx Imperium station has changed hands to RZR, Thundercats unless I'm mistaken. (Can't check directly myself, the above comes from the SHC forums, I'm several hundred km's from home on vacation)
It appears that FIX's stay in Querious is rapidly coming to a close... meh, not a big deal, and plenty of opportunity to try new things.
Before anyone says 'didn't want that station anyways?', yeah, we did want that station, and be assured some of us will be coming back for it at a later date.
Anywho... enjoy the holidays folks, see you in the new year.
