'Twas the night before Christmas', when all through space,
Not a BoB was flying, not of any race;
The poses were stocked with ozone and stront,
In hopes that the coalition wouldn't get what they want;
The ships were nestled all snug in their bays,
While visions of domination drifted away;
And Mittens in his frigate, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long space night fap,
When out on the gate there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the station to see what was the matter.
Away to the system I flew like a flash,
With faction ammo loaded, I'd bought with space cash.
The stars shining bright with the graphics tweaks
Made everything pretty, though lag started to peak
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a GBC fleet, not showing their fear
With a little odd driver, so lame and old,
I knew in a moment it must be Sir Molle.
More rapid than eagles his interceptors came,
And he mumbled, and cursed, and shamed them by name:
"Now, fazely! now, LordGreg! now, Javon Bars!
On, Perpello! on Turney! on, 595Taurus!
To the top of the gate! Hope your ship doesn't stall!
Now run away! run away! run away all!"
"As meteors that often in deep space fly,
Soar with great speed, filling the sky,
So through the gate, the GBC fleet then flew,
With their ships cargos empty, and Sir Molle too.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard over our vent
The smack talk of their pilots, gnashing teeth as they went.
As I tried hard to target, and was turning around,
A wounded tiger appeared, and made a pitiful sound
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his claws were all tarnished from losing much loot;
A t2 bpo was tied to his back,
and he looked quite pathetic, strained from the attack.
His eyes -- how they misted! his whiskers, how droopy!
His fangs were all blunted, his tail stained with ****y!
His poor tiger coat was coated with fail,
And his once regal posture had been fire-saled;
The stump of a quafe pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath;
He had a sad face and a little round belly,
That shook, when he cried, and his breath was quite smelly
He was lost and hurt, a right sad old feline,
And I laughed when I figured, he'd been left behind;
A tear in his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon let me know he'd be killed by my dread;
He spoke lots of words, about how goons liked to lurk,
And furthermore were weak, their pilots were jerks
Giving a growl, more a plea than a warning,
He tried to alt-q, "cause it is late in the morning";
He warped from the gate, to his mates gave a shrug,
And away they all flew saying the system was bugged.
But I heard him mumble, as they fled out of sight,
"HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-FIGHT."

This was pretty funny, but I hope that people don't take it too seriously- otherwise some feelings might get hurt. I think that parody has its place, and I'm not criticizing the decision to post this, just trying to offer some constructive thoughts!

that was rather good :)
edit as in the transposition of words and context ontop of the original rhyme, no feelings towards anything political or that.
