Strange stats for an alliance thats failscading and can only piggyback on others kills in null. But please dont let me refrain you from the truth, as posted by bitter ex-members and jealous trolls.
Narwhals are open for business, and will continue to kick ass in W-space.
I'll be interested to see the stats for feb, then march

Is there any war happened in January so you got as 10x kills as usual? |

Four corporations / 224 members leave ducks because of the abysmal leadership. Said leaders say no no, we're actually great and everything is fine!
Good job, Wasted & Co. Maybe in your next alliance you can try listening to the corporations before they all leave. Or maybe it'll be a repeat of ignoring issues + trolling yourselves into another failcascade. |

Guys this is just a futile discussion, indeed 4 corporations left, 3 of which were mostly PVE corperations.
Narwhals is an PVP alliance, so actually this is working out since over the last week all noses have been pointing the same direction. No more bickering about PVE.
Remember in Eve most players have 2 or 3 or even more accounts. And in the larger older corporations there is always a lot of dead weight and lots of alts. So those 224 might look like a lot but actually it will be more like 40-50 active people.
Lots of these people where PVE focussed, the guys that I personaly miss are the people who atleast participated in PVP and not only CTA's. By the way I personaly diddn't expect the PVP focussed people to leave, normaly those corperations just split up.
Next months statistics will reveal all. So lets close this discussion. Narwhals is here to stay if you like it or not! |

Thats the corp ranking of Januarys kills.
The corps u call "mostly Pve" is pritty high on that kill ranking.
If u count only pvp in WH because Narwhals is a WH alliance after all right ? Bite me inc. that is second on that list have more kills that Abyssal that is nr 1 on that list.
I leave you guys to check the other "pve corps" if you want.
Edit. If you want you can also check that top bad ass pvp corp member statistics and you will see that Abyssal have 2-5 members that represent 90%of the kills. So realy they arent much of a pvp corp they just have a few pvp oriented members that do all the killing. |

Now this thread is just beginning to be silly.
Hayley Endymion and Wizz Saraki please post on your mains if you are gonna keep this thread alive. Its obvius that you are in narwhals or atleast x-members of narwhals. Atleast show narwhals the dignity of posting these statement on your main toons instead of hiding behind alts.
As for Bite Me Inc goes we left Narwhals in good terms, atleast on our side. Not every corporations can work together in an alliance and thats just perfectly normal. I wish narwhals all the best in the future and im sure that they will still be kicking ass in wormhole space.

CCRES was defeated by a combination of RL ****, lots of good skill by aharm, and just unlucky timing seeing as we had a invasion fleet in aharms system aswell. |

How can they call themselves WH mercs if they can't even behave themselves long enough to negotiate taking on a job?
They may retain the name, but now they're just a collection of random retards without direction or purpose. The only reason why we know they still exist (sort of) is because they troll the forums. Their ingame presence is practically non existent to WH dwellers.
They asked for 6 billion to defend a c1 with a strait face for a few of my friends. Other mercs will charge less to take over a WH. I can only imagine it was "trolling".

The person in question who botched that negotiation is no longer with the alliance.
When I had heard about that incident, I was furious. After I found out, I tried, unsuccessfully, to get in touch with the person who originally contacted us about the job. My apologies CJ, and my apologies to your friend, that quote was a spiteful act by a disgruntled member.
Captain Torgo, I vaguely remember hearing your name before... I think you were the guy who complained about the trolling in one of our member corps public channels, maybe two months ago? I will tell you the exact same thing now that I told you back then, public channels are just that, public.
If you want to negotiate a contract, don't talk about the details of the contract in a pub channel like an idiot, convo one of the listed contract managers, and you can be sure you're dealing with someone who you can take seriously and trust. |

Even though narwhals are fail cascading now, I'll at least defend them on this point: While that specific contract might have been cocked up somehow, in general you get what you pay for. So if you want to defend your crappy little c1 you either pay for quality service from bigger, more skilled mercs or you go cheap and get bargain basement defences |

The alts claiming our downfall are becoming more obvious that they aren't in the leadership of DUCK (i.e. not a director/ceo of any of our corps), and as a result simply reporting hearsay and in some cases just plain s***e - I tried to say in an earlier post that you need more conviction in your character to convince the general public of your intel if you are going to post using an alt.

ooo, is this a dig at me and my corp? please let this be a dig at me and my corp! i haven't had any good tears in too long :(
on a more serious note, the reason we left Ducks was due to a difference in opinions and direction rather than any hard feelings on either side. while they may not be the 1000 man alliance they were in their prime, Ducks are hardly dead and i have little doubt we'll be seeing them around for some time yet.

One does not need to be in the leadership to notice when the leadership makes poor decisions. At any rate, bleeding corps because of issues amongst the leadership - and this isn't hearsay, directors and CEO's have explicitly stated this - is certainly not a good thing for an alliance. I'd be interested to know if these corps leaving actually made the alliance leadership reconsider their previous positions and choices, and how they'll handle things in the future, or if it's just a case of continuing on as if nothing happened. I think the latter would be a mistake, but it's not mine to make so w/e |

I like pink, but that doesn't make blue ugly. The fact that you (or your corp) don't like a decision doesn't make that decision bad (after all, a majority liked the decision else it wouldn't have been made). If you have to much disagreement you each go your own way, wich is what happened.
Keep trolling though. We are important enough for you to care about it seems :) |

I care because I was in the alliance, and was upset to see things play out the way they did. I think certain people *not* caring was what put the alliance on the path that ended up with a number of corporations leaving.
PS I think it's safe to say that decisions - and crappy behaviour and attitudes surrounding some of those decisions/decision makers - that result in a sizable chunk of your alliance dropping out are objectively bad ones.
This isn't trolling, it's just my two cents. If narwhals can't see any opinions or discussions for what they are without immediately suspecting it all being some troll scheme then maybe that suggests there's a problem with the trolling.
That last sentence was a little bit troll-y, but it's also true. |

the fact of the matter is that there are 3 sides to every story
just because a few corps left doesn't mean we are a sitting duck and certainly not a dead one.
everyone in eve no matter who u are and no matter the size has to go through a transition period at some point and this is what duck is currently doing.
we are actively taking contracts and for-filling them.
we are all communicating and singing from the same hymn sheet nowadays so there's no problem.
i sat back and watched the differences from a leadership perspective and have my own opinion on what was what and i totally understand what some people was trying to do and failed terribad.
i stand by duck and the decisions they make and im happy with the direction they are going in.
i also know that not everything is how it is being perceived to be.
