In Eve Online everything great falls apart eventually. The time has now come for the mercenary wormhole GÇ£Alliance Narwhals ate my duckGÇ¥. They were once great and respected in the Unknown parts of Eve much thanks to former leader Chitsa Jason(now Exhale). When he left the alliance trolls roamed free on forums and in chatchannels, that in combination with exceptionally weak leadership by Cipreh and Wasted 2008 started a downward spiral for Narwhals.

Failure by Cipreh to organize and carry out successful contracts created unhappiness in the alliance that spread like the black death did in Europe in the 14th century.
This led to indifferences within the alliance which further fueled the trolls. The KB got flooded with fake KM, people tampered with siggy and during prime time one could not have a serious conversation in the alliance channel due to the trolling. Leadership did nothing to stop this.

Eventually a key corporation within the alliance had enough and decided to leave and with them more followed. At the moment there isnGÇÖt enough people online and in the alliance home C6 during prime time to even collapse for a route out else more corps would have left by now including my own.

90%+ of their kills arenGÇÖt from WH space. You draw your own conclusion from that.

What will happen to Narwhals ate my duck? My guess is that they disband if it is before or after they get invaded by a real WH alliance I donGÇÖt know only time will tell.
As it is now Narwhals are a sitting duck waiting to be eaten. Not even being able to field a collapsing fleet in their home system speaks for itself.

The question now is who and what corp/alliance will be the one that put the final nail in Narwhals ate my ducks coffin.

And the mentioned trolls make an appearance. I tried hiring them months ago, but couldn't get passed the trolling. Couldn't reach anyone competent enough to discuss business for at the time I needed a WH cleaned out.

They may retain the name, but now they're just a collection of random retards without direction or purpose. The only reason why we know they still exist (sort of) is because they troll the forums. Their ingame presence is practically non existent to WH dwellers.

I actually wanted to stay but changed my vote after your trolling went past the point that it was worth tolerating, maybe you intended to troll corps you didnt like out of the allience and the leadership allowed this and thats why you havent been kicked. I dont know any other reason why you havent been kicked but hey maybe behind the scenes you do so much work for the allience it balances out your deliberate distruption of the allience.

Guys this is just a futile discussion, indeed 4 corporations left, 3 of which were mostly PVE corperations.

Narwhals is an PVP alliance, so actually this is working out since over the last week all noses have been pointing the same direction. No more bickering about PVE.

Remember in Eve most players have 2 or 3 or even more accounts. And in the larger older corporations there is always a lot of dead weight and lots of alts. So those 224 might look like a lot but actually it will be more like 40-50 active people.

Lots of these people where PVE focussed, the guys that I personaly miss are the people who atleast participated in PVP and not only CTA's. By the way I personaly diddn't expect the PVP focussed people to leave, normaly those corperations just split up.

Next months statistics will reveal all. So lets close this discussion. Narwhals is here to stay if you like it or not!

They asked for 6 billion to defend a c1 with a strait face for a few of my friends. Other mercs will charge less to take over a WH. I can only imagine it was "trolling".

The alts claiming our downfall are becoming more obvious that they aren't in the leadership of DUCK (i.e. not a director/ceo of any of our corps), and as a result simply reporting hearsay and in some cases just plain s***e - I tried to say in an earlier post that you need more conviction in your character to convince the general public of your intel if you are going to post using an alt.

One does not need to be in the leadership to notice when the leadership makes poor decisions.

The fact that you (or your corp) don't like a decision doesn't make that decision bad (after all, a majority liked the decision else it wouldn't have been made). If you have to much disagreement you each go your own way, wich is what happened.
