I just use the contract system. Make a personal contract of the item(s) to your alt. Set the price to 0 isk, then relog on the alt and accept the contract.
Dont think there is another way to do it.

For you, with typical Caldari start skills, probably. Apparently there are other skills that will give your contracts range, but hey, you're Caldari. Don't worry about that silly stuff. Get your alt to where you are, do business, and then go out and take names like a Caldar should. ----- TANSTAAFL

Wasnt aware theres a skill that lets you grab something without going to the station to pick it up.
If theres an item on your main that you want on your alt, your going to need to go to the station either before or after the contracts done since they physical pick-up needs to be at the station.

There may very well not be. I'm just extrapolating from what I've recently learned about market skills. They seem to have range and stuff. I wouldn't know about that, though, I just missile things. Then I missile them again, for good measure. ----- TANSTAAFL

With a private contract your other character does not even need to be in same region to accept it. The items will end up in station where there were before you made the contract.

Just to clarify, there is no way to make items teleport around. Someone has to carry them.
Short answer: One character is going to have to travel to wherever the other one dropped it off.

That's not entirely true. You can accept the contract, then create another contract for transport and pay someone else to move it for you. _____ Lifewire is a big, ugly, mean... carebear. |

Ok... you are dumb. That still requires someone to move the item around even if it isnt your char. Besides, why pay to have it moved? Noob.

The other option besides contracts is to form a corporation and share the corp hangar between your two characters.
Though if you don't plan to keep both it might not be a economical.

Cause a) hauling is boring b) there are more fun things to do while somebody else is hauling your stuff c) usually the stuff is hauled within a day even for a low price as long as collateral is not too high
I only haul stuff that's really expensive or difficult to find, all other stuff is contracted to a courier. I mean.... common, do you like hauling stuff?

Using courier contracts to transfer individual items between 2 chars is a big pain in the a$$. I need to be able to remote-gift someone stuff regardless of our whereabouts.

The item exchange contract is a remote gift. you can create the contract from anywhere, and the alt can accept it from anywhere. The stuff will be wherever it was when you created the contract though. You don't get a teleporter in Eve.

Ok? Not asking for any teleportation, let's call it remote insta-gift.
Currently I still have to click through 7 screens in order to accomplish the item transfer. We need something like the "Give money" function so we can right click on an item in assets or the hanger and do "give to:" and have it pop up with an instant transfer of ownership.

Um.. That still doesn't sound like making things teleport around. It still sounds like "one character is going to have to travel to whever to other one dropped it off" is entirely true. (I'm not saying it has to be YOUR character, but someone has to do it. It doesn't magically appear there because you will it to).
