Why exactly do the Ships&Items window inside a station and the Contents of a wreck share the window properties ?
Have just upgraded to a 1920*1200 display and in some stations i have a lot of items lying around and like to have maybe a 8*8 grids for the display, a big window anyways. But if i set up a nice view inside the station, the next wreck that i loot has the same big window and dragging the contents over is not very comfortable on top of not seeing much what is going on while looting.
I remember being that i found that annoying in 1440*1080 that i used before too, but somehow set them both up in a way that i completely forgot about that.
Maybe everybody merges ship & items into the station panel ? Or am just doing something wrong because i never saw that mentioned anywhere ? Cannot see the advantage anyways of these windows sharing the properties.
Would be very nice to have a way to set up inside a station differently from containers/wrecks outside, where it could be much more useful to see more from the actual gameplay and having the loot close to My Cargo or the My Cargo Button on the ship hud.

Trinity has brought about a few bugs like this, where windows won't remember where you place them and such.
Every time i join a fleet it pops up in my local window and then moves it out of position, annoying indeed. -

I get the fleet window showing up directly under the overview. Is that normal?
I dont mean 'under' it as in the overview being 'top right screen' and the fleet window being 'middle right screen'.. I mean literally right on top of one another.

container contents and corp hangar contents have ALWAYS shared same window info for me.
For more enjoyment and greater efficiency, consumption is being standardized.

It's not your resolution increase that has wonked you up, it's just some tweaks that need to be done to Trinity. They bother me to no end as well, windows popping up when they shouldn't, and with settings I haven't set, but even though very few people are complaining, I trust the issues will be fixed shortly.
A few tweaks that have eased my suffering:
Keep market and assets in a stack together, and keep it closed. They update with every session change, and tend to pop up in your face if you don't keep them closed.
Put Items in its own window.
Cargobay likewise gets its own window now. Minimize it at the bottom until you need to pick up stuff. Then keep it with this new "rolled up" functionality (?!) just under the bottom line of your target info. ----- TANSTAAFL
