There is ALOT more to the story, as we didn't think it would come quite this early, as different powers came into being during the time that were unforeseen, as well as other powerful alliances folding up, but basically, that is what happened. -- -If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, riddle them with bullets..

It's the same old switcharoo that any alliance does when the going gets tough: Redefine the goals to make it look like you are winning. Blacklight got all when BoB started losing and didn't read the forums enough to see all the pets post exactly the same and of course all the predictions. (I personally called the "planned it all" thing when we were cleaning up 66-.) Especially LV said it and that's half of BoB now. - This is what we really want - All those regions are just a pain - When we are unleashed for pos warfare we will roam blabla freedom blah Then if BoB beats us back to Scalding Pass, they'll be all "no we wanted those regions all the time, we just had to make you stretch your supply lines and make you confused and sun tzu and strategy". Then we beat them back to Delve again and it's "haha j/k totally trolled you didn't wanted nothing at all, gonna camps lowsec now say good bye to your trade routes".

What leaked from RA forums at the time is much much too horrible to mention here. Coalition of the time was gloating so much, CAOD was starting to *****.

Ahoy Nat, you are correct. We don't plan on losing anything really. BoB has and always will be a nomadic alliance by nature. It just so happens, it is better to build a fortress to get epic fights in one location, than it is to be spread around like a cold in a subway station to maybe find a fight. All this was supposed to be happening much earlier. Nobody really expected that coalition would fail so horribly at F-T. Let alone that half of the powerblocks would just roll under the weight. But lucky for us, what was left of the coalition managed to regroup. Then they managed to stop losing space by somehow cramming 500 people into one system. Then they managed keep giving us epic fights for almost 1 year. And now, our killboards are soooo overflowing it makes me feel soooo hot. We are averaging 3 fleet battles per day
