Without trying to sound rude he was talking about real IPO/Bond offerings. Yours wasn't touched by a lot of people as it felt like another "DragonRider TAO" business. (read: pyramid)
Nah you don't sound rude, I was more replying to the return rate and how it can be believable and possible, not being an IPO or just faith.
I have no doubt you will offer another business model even higher some time in the near future. Whether that reaches the cut and run point is yet to be determined. Or maybe you are legitimate. Question : How much isk were you in control of with your business?
I do doubt that I will offer another business model (if I ACTUALLY offer one) unless the HIC's get nerfed or I can find another way to make the same amount of isk without stepping out of high sec. In fact depending on what I am making with the current rate I just changed to a couple days ago, I may even lower that. And I am in control of all isk that passes through my wallet, no third party, no alts, no employees to pay off.
How much isk did he put into you?
He didn't put any isk into me just flamed my bio in the forums. Saying the same thing "looks like a pyramid or ponzi".
Now that we have totally changed the topic from the op, let's just keep his topic in mind.
I personally think it is legit because it is just the right amount that is believable to both the investor and the investee making a profit. But not enough for this pilot to throw some liquid isk in the pot.

as a matter of fact, i have done absolutely nothing wrong. what happened was i suggested a bet. then ricdic called me a liar. then everyone sided with him.
so yes it is schoolyard bullying. and no i am not gonna suck up to the big boys of this forum for my "credibility" or "reputation".

But do not underestimate the power of reputation and credibility. Its the most important things in here, and its truely priceless.

Although it might really seem to you as bet, in effect it was just general 'this looks like a scam' statement.
Some reasons why it might feel so:
1) The offered bet, 50M, was really small compared to the scale of the said IPO (billions)
2) Your offer was vague; perhaps make it actual bet offer, including:
2.1) Raise the stakes, the current bet seems low price for anti-IPO crusade
2.2) Offer definite, time-limited win/lose conditions, like "if the IPO has paid less than XX% of promised returns in Y months, I win, otherwise I lose"
2.3) You need some trusted third party that will hold the ISK (especially yours) and determinate the winner as per set conditions
IMHO, you had the good idea: instead of just giving reasons to suspect scams, one should be able to put his money where his mouth is..

I did not call it a scam. i suggested an offer, open to the general public, on the outcome of his IPO.
I did not say it is a scam. If i tried to convince people, then i need evidence. When i suggest a bet, i do not need evidence. if you believe to the contrary, take my bet.
i can go into a pub and say, i bet 10 bux the sun wont come up tomorrow, noone will ask me for evidence. a bet needs no evidence because i am putting my money where my mouth is, if i am wrong, i pay the price.
so now you should answer my original question as to why you continue to retain your unsightly presence in my thread. when you claim to have no interest in it.
