Concord rolling in and popping people who break the law IS intended, anything that circumvents that is unintended and therefore an exploit.
Come on, use your brain.
Here's betting this one has a high sec status and has never been -5.0 or below to experience the imbalance that is faction police/concord. People still played EVE before concord was uber, and them becoming impossible to kill is just CCP's way of making the game acceptable to WoW kiddies and people who love to whine
to the OP... too bad it was obviously an exploit in the first place, since that rule has been in place for a while. Would be fun to do

Poof, no more problem / exploit. Probably take all of 10 minutes to hotfix it in.
My opinion on this is the same as it is for wardec dodging - if the game mechanics allow it and CCP doesn't want it to happen they should *fix* whatever mechanic is broken rather than telling people not to do it.
They'd have to code it in so that GCC in lowsec wouldn't prevent jumping... migh be kind of a pain, but I'm sure they can work something out.

I wish people would think this through.
Would it be fun? Yeah...once...maybe.
But it is a cheese tactic. I recall the days before gates locked you out and people would sit on the gate and shoot stuff then when things looked bad they'd just jump away (this was way before WTZ).
Logoffski is another similar tactic. You shoot someone and when it looks bad you go *poof*.
That is NOT fun. Maybe for the 12 year old chuckling at his leet logoffski but for the rest of EVE it sucks but make no mistake if this was allowed there'd be veritable fleets of the things doing it.
CCP seems pretty intent on making people who want to fight, you know, actually fight.
There is nothing new about this rule...they are just applying it to a new game mechanic. Frankly anyone who used it in the first place should be instabanned without needing CCP to make a post about it. The rule is way old and if you can fly a Black Ops ship you know the rule. Escaping the wrath of CONCORD is an exploit.
Exactly... But it'd be fun once
Really too expensive of a ship for me to risk finding out if it'd work even. Some people have too much isk lying around, lol...
tbh I agree with you... Just the NPCs in game get rather annoying when you can't do anything to them (different discussion entirely)

A little from column A, a little from column B.
I'm pretty sure CCP has a list of at least some rules written down somewhere, but for some reason they have decided not to make that list available to the general public.
I hope a dev notices this post and takes the time to read and think... hmmmm. "Clearer rules = less random petitions?"
