Corp 1 has been classified as CWAN crap without a nap. They will harbor corporate theives, break NAPs, ask for treaties they do not intend to honor, lie to entrap you, run and hide when the going gets tough.

This contract of yours is cr*p.
Neither side has the slightest clue about contracts. Next time, arrange a timelimit for paying instead of "you get my word that you'll be paid". Cuz that stands for nothing. You wouldn't break your word even IF you didn't pay them for a year, as no time was stated.
Contracts based on cr*p are bound to be mishandled. And people stupid enough to form them are bound to get the short end of the stick one way or the other.

...MrMean and WhiteMist clearly..stated the rules of are NAPs with people/corps..the person didnt pay up..and didnt take the role of a good CEO to inform the rest of this corp about all the details..due to his lack of leadership ..this turned out bad for him. I do think its funny as all of you people think we arent good w/trustworthy with naps...well if you notice none of the other corps that we have them with have ever whined about it...because they dont beat around the bush when it comes to striking a deal and paying up. Hopefully Monarch has learned a lesson here..on communication..and "putting the money where the mouth is"...

There have been posts about whether or not a pirate should be honorable after their word has been given, one incident that comes to mind when pu55ycat held someone up for 18m and destroyed him anyways, and then gave the isk back after the confusion was cleared up.
if a pirate says he's going to do something, and then doesn't, then why would ANYONE else ever listen to him again??
a short example:
a noob in a bs goes flying through a sector, you stop him and charge a toll, and threaten to kill him if he doesn't pay. if you can't be trusted, why wouldn't they just say 'screw off' and try to run, we all know you can easily make more from tolls than the destruction of a ship.
if corp 1 doesnt' do nap, they should have said so, as the chat log goes into gross overdetail about it, and even stipulates that it's 1m per week per person. they didn't follow the guidelines that were agreed to so they breached the contract, that's it, pure and simple the tempest that they aquired was stolen from a 'friendly' person. and when did they expect to get paid for people that were going down there anyways while i was offline?? i think GM is correct in assuming that they were out for blood and just bored.

However..Based from Monarch's history being a man of his word...always paying back loans etc...and of Corp 1 twisting this and stabbing them in the back just isnt right...

This whole thing seems to me like bad form on both sides.
First of all, you have monarch agreeing to pay, but the people there weren't paid for, and would not answer.
Second you have corp 1 who agreed to this deal, but stole a tempest.
The solution would seem to be return the tempest, and for monarch to reimburse corp 1 for everyone who went down there. Corp 1 won't do this. I'd have to say that I'd think twice b4 trusting anything corp 1 said to me, and then think twice more.
All of this is assuming you believe it is right for them to charge you to be there in the first place. Perhaps you should gather your forces and go in there guns blazing Monarch.
I'm sure if you get a few of their battleships near to collapse that they will be more than happy to return the tempest, at that point it would be interesting to see whether you would let it go for just a tempest and a few million isk.

About two weeks ago I was down in southern derlik npc hutning in my raven. I ran onto some corp 1 and offered to pay a hutning fee for them to just leave me in peace. Which I paid, and I didn't mind paying it. Somone spoke about a nap and said we would get together and discuss it later. I left the chat stating if you have any questions or have a problem with myself or a corp mate just conv me anytime.
Two days later I was participating in a corp mining op for some jaspet and I saw sally warp into the system. I tried to raise sally on local and spoke a few lines such as "how are you" "how's corp 1" "need anyting form us?"
about 20 minutes passet and the next thing i know we have a tempest, two ravens, and a bb warp into our mining op. Everyone got away except myself which I was guarding our haulers.
Just another example of how corp 1 lures peopel into thinking they are frendly only to screw them over. I honestly felt corp 1 would at least give me a warning or tell us to pay up some money. But we were not even in territory that they claim.
Just be forwarned. I just finshed a new ship myself but I will stay out of there way from now on and have no dealings with them.

This is a very funny post. Indeed. Like I'd need 20 minutes to find your fat ass Raven in a belt. I entered the system quickly, found you on the scanner within seconds and I asked the others to jump in and to warp to your position, we killed your Raven in around 2 minutes and left.

Now where in my post did I complain about about being blown up and acting like a carebear? I was in full battle gear, I got beat fair enouph. My comment was that 1) we were not in your territory. and 2) just 48 hours before I had purchased a npc pass and one of your members brought up the idea of a nap. Which i found strange but went along with it because we at the time would be interested in a nap. 3) I stated I would not have any futher dealings with corp 1 and would stay out of there way.
Did not say I would hunt corp 1, or make idel threats especially one that I know that I can not back up. At least 4 vs 1 anyway.

did you even read anything that has been said?? do yourself a favor and just take the time to read the chat logs, boring yes, but you can plainly see that there is definately cause for your corp being slandered. hate handled himself very well, and i did trust him that the NAP would be upheld. it would be nice to see his opinion on this since he was doing a majority of the talking when it came to the NAP.

My corp has been talking with Corp 1 for jus under a week, and they seem like cool guys. If people jus take the time out to talk to people instead of labeling others "Pirates" etc. Pirate are a part of the game, jus like we have terriosts in RL. If people cant deal with pirates within Eve i personally think they should consider a new game.
Yes uve saved hard for a battleship or whateva, and yes u must face hat some day ur gona lose it, its part of the god damn game.

We didn't make a mistake, you did by starting wild assumptions. Negotiate, pay in advance and you will be fine. By the time your people have been asked in local what the mining party is about and by the time no one responded you forced us to act.
Furthermore "for now" is temporary and WhiteMist was clearly stating his intentions.
Train up your negotiation skills and then you won't need any more whinage here.
Or just keep whining, we are getting used to it and soon the forums will be full of people like you.

sally, could you please inform me what the wild assumptions were?? if you look at the log, hatepants said your corp wasn't used to doing business that way but would agree. i would also like to see some chat logs from the local since you guys keep insisting that money was demanded and denied etc. i have already informed you why they didn't know about the 1m that was to be paid...
and should the term 'for now' only mean 12 hours?? not even a whole day and wait for me to log on and see if payment was going to be rendered??

Monarch you agreed that there would be payment for your people, yet at the time they was in the agreed area where you talked about, there was no payment for any1 but yourself. tbh there is no problem here, payment should be made BEFORE hand so that ppl cant mine or whatever and just run off without paying. Futhermore, no1 responded to corp 1's messages about payment, and not responding is as good as denying payment altogether.

One of us once even paid a battleship pilot in advance to make him eject from his ship (stupid move IMHO, but anyway ). We a trustworthy, nice people who keep our word and everyone in Corp 1 who breaks it or leaves on bad terms is going to be spanked by us nicely.

UNI, nor myself did anything to break the contract, it is spelled out that they will recieve payment after the number of pilots that are going to come down are confirmed. hatepants from corp 1 was ok with that, he didn't want anyone to know how low the rate was either, so i didn't let the UNI guys know, again sticking to my word. it's obvious that whitemist was just hungry for battle and chose an opportunity for and easy target... 5 vs 1, anyone is easy...
again, i ask for chat logs that prove that they were not willing to pay etc... i know for a fact the exact opposite is true, THATS why no chat logs of local have been posted.

i wish i did have the local chat... there was chatter of swisher wanting his corpse back, so i told im i could sell it back, or even better trade back... he seemed like it was a good idea, i told him i wanted my temepest back and the local was filled with obscenities from swisher, even though he seemed to be level headed, the local chat showed something completely different...
if anyone has the local saved, i would appreciate a copy posted here...

We all take the good with the bad...Personally the fight was uneven but neitherless I lost my scorp and wow...my bounty...get over it..its old news...and aleast bud..I fight and am in a corp...and I dont hide behind a Noob corp...such like you do...

And all the people in local agreed that you are the biggest whiner we have seen is such a long time. all that cursing you were doing towards monarch. it made us laugh.
You act as if you dont care yet you spent 30 minutes in local crying like a baby.

Now then.......I'm not sure if i read this right, but did someone mention NPC hunting using multi specs
Also i fail to see how this fight was unfair, and THE ONLY way to effectivley fight a tempest 1 on 1 in a scorp is to jam. You try to tank that thing and see how long you last (That point of veiw is based on personal experience) Please don't hesitate to reply if you feel i'm wrong.
At the end of the day, a corp 1 guy engaged in a 1 on 1 and got his ass kicked, lets just leave it that and quit with the **** "awww i wasn't setup for pvp"

If you wern't setup for pvp then you shouldn't have fought him, end of story. You fought.....you lost.....you died. PERIOD

If you remember correctly..Monarch ..the whole time I have been there has been nagging about how he lost a bs and had his friend eject from his bs..by corp 1... He then challenged me to a duel ..being in a worked up state..accepted..without really thinking..thus was my downfall..but no big deal..even the best players die one time or another...ex"Tank CEO" and others... but as you can plainly see Monarch is trying to milk all this as much as he can...There is no wrong in losing a ship or being podded (note only my 3rd time to be done to me) but its what you do after that...that makes the difference. I made some mistakes...I have learned from them and it will not happen again. That is one thing as a pirate you always will do..ist to always learn..
As far as Monarch goes..as I said before...saddly he will only have this to go off of in his sad..belly life in eve..he is a man that hides in noob corps to not be able to be attacked or gone after by other corps...he stays in empire and lacks the spirit to go beyond his fears.

Monarch does not hide within no0b corps for the reasons you described.
I for one have tried to recruit monarch on various ocasions, and i reckon he will back me up on this.....each time i get the same response, and i admire him for his reasons.
Monarch choses not to be in a corp through choice, and here i will try to enlighten you to his reasons: (Hope you don't mind monarch )
1) Joining a corp, means going along with the corp decisions whether you deem them to be right or wrong. You either go ahead with it against your judgment, or leave and upset people.
2)Corps are often dragged into personal disagreements like "you killed me, now my whole corp is after you/your corp" and the same both ways, if you want to go after someone, your corp may get involved in a good way or bad
3) Naps do not stand with monarch, you **** him off, he'll hunt you down, no matter who you are, what corp your from, or how many people are in your corp.
4) He doesn't feel the need to be in a corp getting dragged into wars that do not concern him!
I would also like to say that monarch ranks highly in my most respected players in eve. He's honest and to the point, and he's damn hard to kill 1 on 1, trust me i've tried it before in the past 
He doesn't have to be in a corp to enjoy eve. I do think he would probably have more fun if he was in a corp though but he's only gonna do what he feels is right, and for someone to go solo for this long and continue to be in a bs opretty much everytime you see him......He must be doing something right. and stop with the flames everyone, he's a one man band, he don't post that often on the forums, and when he does he gets a load of ****. Let him have his moment
On that note i'll stfu, but please show a little respect, were not all 12 years old, trying to slam each other for everything we say, were just informing the eve population the best way we can

ffs monarch, when will u stop being so n00bish as to post long ass conversations on the eve-online site, id swear enough ppl flame u everytime to discourage u, but NO. barely anyone has time to read all tht ****, unless they know it is good. the ViceRoy thing, many have read cus it is excellent and readable from the outset. urs is just boring, for heavens sake can u not sum things up, and offer the chat log as a link for anyone who wants it.
for the record the last time i saw monarch do this he was biatching cus one of my corp members, stole some drones from his mate, then his mate stole something, so they traded back, and monarch wanted 10mil for the distress suffered by his mate and rather than a simple telling us about it, he pasted the whole chatlog on here, nobody else wanted/needed to know.

as another side note, yeah it was 1 dom and 2 BB's who didn't want to fight 2 tempests and some other cruiser, plus we also knew that monarch had other friends in the system, who were probably there as an ambush. perhaps we were wimps, perhaps we were smart
and i complain cus he is wasting bandwidth that could be used to upload new movies for me to dl. and tht rona corp one - wht a waste of time (i'm thinking rona was the non-combat one which was just a trailer to join)
/me is very "anal"
ps use a proper dictionary when looking up "anal" and bear in mind the fact tht i am usually pretty organised

there is actually proof, someone who was in the system "macknife" was willing to fight with monarch and i am 90% sure he had a tempest since then we have become friendly with him. if i need to eve-mail him in game to get him to come on here and proove u wrong i will. and even it was just the two tempests, V 1dom and 2 BB's the lack of experience on our side was a massive factor. the pilot of the dom, had simple got it through mining and knew, little to nothing of pvp. the two BB's had been doing n00b pirate work (that is new to pirating, not new to the game, - incase ur struggling to keep up) we had taken on our first cruiser the day before, and were still very new to the capabilites of the BB, and i think i was still using heavy missiles, and the other could use torps. And also i can't speak to well for the others, but i certainly did not feel confident about it, as i had never even fought a BS. NOW tell me, were we wimps? i'll stick by my statement of no.
And Now, factor in that monarch had another mate on top, who was mouthing off in local, monarch had been playing 9 months - a good 7months more than the two BB pilots at tht time, and probably had more friends not too far away.
After me putting all this stuff in, u still do not believe that we made the right decision, then u truely are not worth the effort.
