Gibralter was ceeded centuries ago, the people that live there are several generations down the line Brits who want to remain British and have a right to self detrimention (sp?) and had a refferendum to keep Gibralter a British Dependancy my an overwhelming majority.
That realy should settle it in most books.

Is Spain invaded Gibralter, I would think that would put them in a very bad position with the rest of the EU, they wouldn't do that. Gibralter also is a military base, it can hold it's own for long enough for reinforcements, and the Falklands is an example of how far Britain is willing to go for it's dependencies - war ain't gonna happen.
