Happy third birthday Huzzah!
Three years ago, after months of toil obliterating asteroids in Hibi, CONCORD finally accepted our payment and a small group of industrious corporations living in low-sec Domain were united to form the Huzzah Federation.
Alliances were all very exciting and new back then, partly because they had their own chat channel, partly because they could claim their own space, and partly because they had their own logo. Needless to say the membership of our alliance channel and our territorial claims have changed many times but the logo and the ethos it symbolises has remained the same.
Following the founding the more adventurous among us ventured out from Misaba and into the wilds of 0.0 spaceà and were quickly blown away by the hostile gate camp on the other side of the R3 gate. Nevertheless we persevered and took the first steps on the long road to where we are today.
Many pilots have joined us on our travels; many have left. WeÆve flown with a number of alliances and crossed swords with a lot more along the way. We remember with fondness CVA, IAC, FIX, TSBS, Stain Alliance and certain individuals (Hans, Ish, Vantras, Angry Dan, Krystian, Hardin, Aralis, Tyraxx et al.). And our thanks to CCP as well, despite the complaints some people make, we wouldn't still be playing unless we loved the game. Our best wishes to you all.
But who are we? Several times the community thought Huzzah dead and gone; and several times it has arisen from the ashes of its previous incarnation to fight on again. El CovahÆs epic video explains it all. For those of you wondering "who the heck are Huzzah?!", this is who we are:

Huzzah was dormant from about August 2006 to January 2007 = 4 months, hardly a particularly significant gap, and as Ilany has pointed out, that issue is covered in the film.

Lot's of fond memories about my time in Huzzah. I got to see and learn a lot about 0.0 / Alliance life. The school of hard knocks in Catch region was invaluable to me. My Huzzah friends kept me going in the game, even though I'd lost all to roaming fleets of BoB or -AAA-.
Real glad to see Huzzah growing at the 3year mark!

Those were the best times mate. I loved em. Wandering around ina buzzard during the TSBS wars wondering whree everyone went when I arrived. Complaining cos the alliance wouldn't let me fly anything else. Especially how you only ever shot Gaskin when he was in pipe in a badger on the way to our old Deathstar in FSW-3C. Happy times.
PS Gaskin Ravenwing is still a n00b. I know, He lives downstairs from me.
