I can live with that, but I really have to say something about it.
Those that podded me will never officially know, apart from in this post, you got me good with a full set of +4s, a mind link and other implants.
I never know what implants the pod had that I killed had, ever.
So, how about CCP adding implants to Capsule kill mails ?
It can't really be THAT hard.
If someone kills me for a Rho clone, then good, all the more KPs to them, but CCP's ignorance of the value of a pod + clone contract (and possible implants) deludes me.
Make a pod kill worth something, and let people know what you lost when it happened. --

Maybe also make ship scanners also reveal implants that the player has when the pod is scanned for those people who do bother to donate a midslot for the mod.

/signed Not only that but this will make true losses more accurate on kill boards. Now you will know down to the very last isk how much you lost in that ship and pod when they plode.

Make it a skill to perform an autopsy on a corpse to get this information. Now there's a fringe occupation for the macabre.

+1 for that skill ! :D Maybe even somehow make it so you can salvage from the corpses?
Or for the love of god, just give us the damn corpse launcher! Or make it so we can stick corpses to our capitals (who wouldn't want a Nyx with corpses everywhere? :D) //Desiree Proud Member of ForumPost'r'Us |

It'll make killboards more accurate. Currently all pod mails are equivalent, which is far from reality.

Back on point, add plants to kms, because when a guy with a full set of snakes gets podded it's a bit different than a nubship alt kill.

I don't know about this suggestion, wouldn't it just encourage people to podkill more just to get some extra stuff in the mail?
Would it add any added gameplay enjoyment and enrichen the playing experience? Besides to those who revell in nothing but getting that one more killmail in the struggle to keep on top of the killmail list?
No, I don't think this would be a good idea I'm afraid. As such I can't sign this particular suggestion.

No. If this was implemented, killboard fappers would end up doing permanent damage to their equipment.

1. Implants lose all isk value once installed. Unlike a ship, which keeps it's value even after it's been used over and over again, etc. Losing a clone doesn't actually "cost" anything, other than the cost of whatever clone you respawned into.

its a record, its a memory of your time spent in the game. KM's allow you to rate yourself, your performance and help you get better at PVP, can you think of a better reason to have them?

And after implants show up everyone and their brothers will be killing pods just to get that cool killmail with implants while now pod kills are pretty much worthless.
Mostly only pirates kill pods in low sec due to the security loss, but do you think that is the case after you can see all the implants? I think not.
Dunno why anyone would like to advertise the fact that you had some expensive implants in your head... Next time maybe they'll kill you first because they know you like to use those expensive ones?
Maybe it's just good that everything isn't about money and statistics.

I've got to agree with Wet Ferret here. From a pirate ransom perspective, I really like how when making a ransom for someone's pod, you never really know how much, or what they have. If you pod someone, and see that they had a set of +5's, chances are you'd ransom them very high if you ever caught them again. I think this takes away from the 'mystery' ransom. You're never really gaining anything from podding someone, except a corpse. Which according to who it is may or may not be valuable.
However, if you get hate mail from the person saying how you blew his low grade slave set to dust, it's just outright hilarious and stupid on his part. ---

LOL, says the miner in empire.
Podding is part of the game, and it will be that forever. So why not show implants on the pod losses then?
Showing implants on the pod is almost the same as having rigs showed on ship killmails.

Keyword: almost. Rigs have material value as they can still be sold off with the ship, so they are statistically relevant.
