Okay, I am trying to outfit an onyx to be able to tackle all these nano-ed out vagabonds and ishtars. they de-cloak and warp away too fast to catch. Also, they are too fast to keep up with and we have nothing that will stop them. This onyx is my last attempt before I give it up and just stay in empire space. I have approx 7mil sp, all pve. Dont care how many skills I have to train, someone please give me a setup that will work. Thanks --Kahniz

I wouldnt worry about locking them before they warp.. its keeping them in scram range that will be the problem. i know its not what you are looking for but i dont think any onyx fit could stop a vaga without help from a minnie recon

Fit a bunch of sensor boosters for fast locking. This doesn't, however, change the fact the vagabond will MWD out of range, and leave, unless you get really lucky and it decloaks in web range. -- Crane needs more grid 249km locking? |

Just be patient. The Speed-mobiles are only FOTM and will get completely useless after the polycarb nerf.

Onyx is a Heavy Interdictor, meant to use bubbles, to scramble large groups of enemies, whilst tanking for a period of time. Not in any way, is it useful for catching nanoships.
If you want to catch nanoships, use a Rapier/Huggin

train for a huginn/rapier or curse. curses run nanoships off and if u get lucky with a neut cycle can stop em in their tracks. minmater recons are the best tho. -------------------------------------------------- It is not what u are underneath, but what you do that defines you |
