Edited by: VicturusTeSaluto on 20/01/2008 11:44:14 Friends, the past month and a half has been an interesting journey! There have been many ganks, fights, and yes- even losses(and no we do not solely kill farmers- but I am not here to talk of such tales.). We have made enemies, and we have made friends. We even have had some farmers apply to our corp; Metafarmers let them in and figured that we might gank them a bit. We killed them some, but the best bit is that they were killed and pod killed by the other farmers that we have war decs with! The farmers have been set against eachother!
Metafarmers began with the short term objective of clearing out Orfrold. This used to be a very nice area for missions/pveing/combat/piracy and general fun. Once the farmers came to Orfrold, no one else wanted to be there. The farmers caused lag(including desyncs) and made it hard to track the coming and going of local.
We were able to clear out Orfrold far ahead of our projections... The system returned to life; it was bustling with players of every possible trade. Metafarmers then set their sights on Ingunn while pursuing the Orfrold farmers to Arzi and Ansen. While we did manage to put a virtual halt to low sec farmer combat missions in the ingunn area(but not yet the hauling), the farmers in Arzi and Ansen continue to thrive.
The player-corp-based farmers in those two systems are now sporting more protection and boldness than ever. Their protection force has been as high as 6BC/BS(which is difficult to counter because they only use it when they know they have a huge advantage; they have scouts everywhere). I watched in despair as they ganked an anti-farmer raven with their huge blob. All I had in that low sec pocket at the time was a dual-sensor boosted frig for catching their shuttles.
Even with our forces divided between 3 daunting targets, it felt GOOD to have the farmbots on the run. However, they have now decided to strike back at the heart of Metafarmers! Orfrold once more!!! As of today there were about 20 in Orf local- many haulers and shuttles- and also many farmers in Klogori. They had 3 ravens and 1 caracal grinding out combat missions. For every farmer group that we disrupt, a new one is able to rise up and take their place.
These farmers will stop at nothing, and are set to tear New Eden apart; this is the struggle of our time ( )
I must thank everyone that has helped. We have had plenty of generous donors, recruits, and allies. I must also thank you for all the moral support. If any of you feel so inclined to jump into this epic fight to the death, go ahead and assist in any manner that you see fit.

I think they have non combat alts spam bookmark copying to lag the nodes, I have seen locals of only 7 people lag to hell wehn trying to corner one war target. Also... when you are about to enter fleet combat, do you get spammed with chat invites from unknown random keystroke names? These are tricks farmers use on me around lonetrek.
CCP needs to adress the lag cheats being used by farmers.

I dont suppose you could give the names of the player corps that protect the farmers and share details with them? As Ingunn is neighbour to my home system, I would like to know which corps that are protecting farmers in the area.
Also, dont take all the credit for clearing their mission runners... Long before you arrived, we killed 2-4 mission running battleships every single day in Ingunn.

i don't know if there is a link beetween the mission farmers and the massive drop of implants prices.
If yes this is the way they make isks... to sell it.
Because: - i've a thirst of blood against isks sellers - i'm highly concerned in trading (keep the prices high =p)
i would be glad to join tou in your crusade.
i'll contact you ingame with my pewpew char
see you later.

Which clearly shows you havent really been around lately... We are there every day as their battleships tend to be only targets in the area in the morning europe time. But of course, we use recon ships or covert ops ships to scan with, so we wouldnt show up on scan for you to see anyway.

Agreed! keep up the good work. Now if CCP can stop these guys who fly thru systems advertising for buying isk, that would be a miracle. Not sure how to stop the local, 'buy my isk' bots.

Some are, and some are not.
they used to simply leave as soon as a war dec got slapped on them, but now they are doing much more in trying to fight back.

Edited by: VicturusTeSaluto on 21/01/2008 10:31:42 We could use some help to Orfrold/Klogori. The infestation is very bad. 5 mission ravens at one point. It's hard for me to kill them because they will dock as soon as I come into local, and will not undock until after I have been gone a while.
Haven't gotten any of their missions ships here recently, except a caracal. I've gotten plenty of the shuttles/haulers though.
We could use some help tackling them in deadspace or locking down the stations/gates. A little rapid dominance should convince them not to come back to the Orf area anytime soon.
Originally by: Dahin list corpnames, we click wardec. Once we're finished with current wardec.
convo me or stakhanov in game sometime, but our current war targets are: "a aid Corp", "a ak47 Corp", and "a apo corp". There are probably other farmer corps, but I am not up on that intel.

Exactly. I would not be surprised if they ended up forming an alliance eventually :p

Actually they tried that, it was called fiery unicorn, it went down in flames.
and if you see GSC floating in space belonging to farmers, shoot them down, they normally are the stockpile of faction loot that the farmers use. They dont drop anything but hey, might as well make them angry. -------------

Good hunting, gentlemen, good hunting.
It is my personal opinion that lowsec operating corps, be they pirates or anti-pirates, should try to assemble and co-operate more if they reside in farmer infested areas; they must be eradicated, strung up, lynched, what have you!
For a clean New Eden, glistening with the purity of honest endeavours!

Think about it:
1. Carebears and pirates in low sec will have a common goal (and an endless supply of targets)
2. ....
3. Profit! ------------------

Well said. Sadly, most of the antipies are opportunistic bastards that are trying to halt our efforts. Gotta thank our allies for allowing us to use rapid dominance against the anti-pie blobs. Hopefully, enough people will join the cause that all the fruity little antipies will decide that the cost of disrupting it is too great.

This is going to make me feel really dirty, but it truly is the farmers' war against us. They are working very hard to end EVE prematurely.

Only if they're ****s. Ganging up for a common cause is a beautiful thing.
And Vic, they always dock up when they see you in system for a good reason. You're a very mean person. :p
My goal is still to get someone to ask me to not make violence their boat.
