I don't agree that the race should now become available to any players. It would be nice if we could however fight them now and again.

Anyway, some interesting ideas about Jove. I reckon one day it would be very cool to open up Jove space, make it hard to get to. Maybe offer some form of genetic engineering with a suitable and permenant penalty. No need to limit it to vets, but make it hard to obtain and something you would consider carefully before doing. I think it is something that should come a few more years down the track. After ambulation is out, after the faction war has raged and ended leaving the cluster completely changed. Could be very interesting. I'd like to see an Eve where the 'landscape' changes significantly. Interaction with the Jove is too significant to be done soon or lightly.

What you gonna do with it? Train the same boring stuff that every other race has, in the (almost - not taking into account implants) same amount of time that you have made your other chars. Oh wow, big deal if they get a char. Compare it to RL if you like (bet you don't :) ), When I started to insure my car on MY own, I had to pay around 1600 EUR per year @ 140% insurance rate. Been driving long enough now and done special courses to have it lower to 70% over time. Been a good customer, no major accidents, no damages in the millions... don't I deserve to have my rates lowered? Apply the same to here.... you have been a loyal customer for 4 years on your ACCOUNT... here.. take this little 800k SP Jovian buddy, train all the crap you wanna play with it.
