There are still hostiles to FDN in GW, but there are lots of systems that noone goes into, and are placed in nice and quiet pipes, such as the LXTC pipe. There may be occassional "-V- and allies" gangs roaming, but there is a intel chat for that sort of information, and you should have plenty of time to warp to a POS. * Reavers are recruiting

It's completely dead end, has two NPC stations, and of course Curse is NPC sov. I don't know who operates there now, but it might be something worth looking into. Empyre Domestic Reform	Posted - 2008.01.22 19:35:00 - [47] you already got an alliance ticker. all you have to do now is scout out a relatively unused system in a n00b alt, covert cyno in a jump hauler with a small tower, corp hangar array and maybe a ship maintenance array. anchor your tower but uncheck the claim SoV option. now you only have to make a couple hundred mil isk before everything is profit and you can afford to even lose your tower if someone finds it. i wanted to do this more regularly myself but i'm having too much fun with other tasks. i think its a great idea, though (especially if you have a few people to go with you) and hope to see it used a lot. empire markets need some love in places other than the main hubs. I <3 empire.. usually.

It's not just a dead-end, it's the dead end of a region on the edge of the star cluster. I like the idea that if you travel to the end of the known universe, you find Chribba mining in a dreadnought. Security is -0.85, so the NPCs should be reasonable. Also, it has all the best ores in abundance, NPC sovereignty so you can remain neutral for 3rd party services, and the local faction - ORE - is the most Veld friendly in the game.
