Suiciding a corp traitor on a high sec gate. Can you 1 volley a pod?

Since he missions, carebears and mines I cant really do anything to him as he sticks in high sec and will just switch corps if we dec him. However, I know that every night before he logs, he flies in his pod through 4 systems to his Iteron V, stick a mining laser and alot of cargo expanders on it and mines while he sleeps. He will be making the trip in the coming 2-3 hours, I know where he is now, and what systems he will be in. and luckily, he has an implant head worth over 600m isk. This is some utilities and a full rack of +5's. I know he spent a very, very long time grinding these. I plan to ambush, and podkill him. I can fly any of the destroyers, and can fit 7x of any of the weapons with a damage mod at the very least with my fitting skills. I will only get 1 chance at this because afterwards he will at least be using a frigate to protect his implants when travelling I am sure. So what I want to know is the following. ----------------------- tl;dr 1. What destroyer would be most effective at 1 volleying a pod? And is it even possible to do so? 2. Can I shoot all 7 guns before the sentry would shoot at me? 3. Other than Sensor boosts with speed scripts, 7x guns and a damage mod, what else could I use to maximise my chances?

A smartbomb BS would be a pretty much guaranteed kill, but you just said he mines while he sleeps. Suicide gank the itty V, and nail the pod then.

Quoted for truth. destroyer to nail is itty5, wait 15 minutes, comeback. Nail pod. Before going into this, make a shipscan of the itty5 and calculate how much you need to bring to suicide it on the first attempt based on if he got a damage control, shield extenders etc.

I am happy to say though, I have never seen so much swearing in a conversation directed at me in my life lol, he is not pleased at all. Not in the slighest.
