sometimes i have this problem too.
i had some minor and some major arguments with her about it. ya know the **** where women leaving the room, reproachful silence, tears, questions like:
"so doesnt i make u happy too?"
"why u are playing all the time?"
"i dont want to change u but ur rude so why dont u just understand that ur the ass here"
"its just a dumb and childish game, why do u love this game more than me?"
etc.
all this crap is always the same. and yes 90% of all women are like that (except riehte, who is either just a lucky bstard or an genius of relationship psychology).
yes women are very insecure and needy. they are often more kind of a problem than kind of an enrichment for ur life and ur happiness.
and yes its also true that playing eve for 5 straight hours might be a lil mean if ur girl just came over to spend some time with u and getting her dose of love and care.
however u as a male inhabitant of this planet HAVE TO FIGHT FOR UR RIGHTS WITH CLAWS AND TEETH. no matter what.
women will try to change u. god made em so. its what the bible refers to as the 10th plague. its some sort of gods sense of humor.
the most important part however is not to lose the objective point of view here. most women dont understand the male language if it comes to explaining ur male desires for online spaceships and why it is not a sign of disregard towards her if u take ur time and enjoy ur game.
sometimes she will listen and understand.
sometimes her feminine character will label ur effort to make her understand as pure disrespect. in that cases u have to make a stand.
u are having a hobby and u WILL NOT ABANDON IT because of her insecurity and claim for ur attention! it is just fair that u can peacfully have ur time with something which enriches ur life in a way a woman cant. women have a lot of hot things to offer but they dont offer online spaceships for sure. u dont be rude tho.
u should always know that ur girl has feelings and those are easy to hurt and very hard to heal. women tend to take even the slightest thing which could be understood as something violating for sheer evil and will be mad at u without any appearend reason. the reason is there, but a male being wont see it i can asure u this. thats the "woman - man, man- woman"-communications problem.
so u have always to try it diplomatic and fondly. me and my girl know eachother for around 2 years now and still she sometimes starts this ****. it usually begins with her sitting in the same room and randomly asking me nonsense stuff while i am highly concentrated on my game (she provokes me to become angry that way, so she can cry about how mean i am). it is the same behaviour as cats. theyll come and sit on ur lap, meow, make noises and even bite u in the feet if they want ur attention.
make her understand that its not the time. show her that u are playing and that u enjoy ur gaming session and that it would make u even happier if she would be so kind to let u finish ur game so u both could undertake something together later.
if u have a girl who is a *****y hen than ull have to make ur point of view very clear for her. it will maybe end up in tears and general celibacy but if shes not too self-centered shell understand that u wouldnt defend something which is unimportant to u and maybe finally realize that she would have been off way better not disturbing ur peaceful game and simply wait an hour for u to give her the care she deserves.
