After much review and a heavy heart, I feel that I must weigh in on the issue of Riverini's candidacy. It seems that Riverini may not be qualified to rise above the enormous issues that we face in the coming year and as much as I like to lift him above the other candidates, I simply cannot support him in his giant endeavor. I know that his announcement post is larger than life and I really do believe that he means well but I would prefer him to stay a unbiased, non-objective party as a news reporter rather than blubbering his way through politics. In short, it would be a crime and a disservice to allow Riverini to have his cake and eat it too.

Potato chips are okay though.

Sorry Riverini, you may be well rounded but I do not believe that you can fit into the CSM. Please do what you are best at, which is reporting the news. We will continue to feed you tasty morsels at extremely regular intervals so you never go hungry for action.

Nice post and good luck with CSM7 I'm sure you will do well, but your MT statement is incorrect and this issue was highlighted way before the Jita riots started - during CSM5 in 2010. You may have helped to pass on the message and garner support but the ball had already been rolling for some time with way more supporters already onto this topic far before the riots started. The documents from CCP did help get peeps riled and active into jita though - even if half of them had no clue as to why they were rioting (some I talked to were pissed that there were so many **** options in the Nex store).

You are seriously overselling yourself here. First of all noone entrusted you to be the news source, you were basically the ONLY news source that covers all the important events, and thats why people are flocking to evenews24 despite bad grammar and bad journalism. (btw you are actually doing a really nice job with your graphic banners and so on)

But you're lacking in terms of non-biased reporting. Many of the other writers on the site have repeatedly given battle reports and updates of their own alliances being curb stomped or come under fire by internal or external drama and leaks. Whereas we've seen little to nothing of the alliances you've claimed loyalty to in any sort of negative light, less it be by another reporter.

Sorry but I can't vote for someone whose done little to nothing for the game itself. True you created EN24, but at the cost of setting yourself up for an eternal lashing post. Mittens has his issues, but at this current time I strongly believe the fact that he's a complete *** has caused EvE to be what it is now. Six months ago players cringed and hesitated to log in. Crucible brought the end to that. EvE is a fun game. A terrible game. But fun all the same.

I will support Riverini. I think he speaks for more players then Mittani and has the fame that is needed to remove Mittani from the chairman position. I still don't know the plan that Mittani has for EVE.. but i'm pretty sure it only involves whats good for Goons. I feel that Mittani underestimate us as players.. his corrupt, arrogant and dishonest and ofc his a goon. The funny thing is that the last year Mittani has done his best to flip the common view of Goons. Mittani has taken the place of a hero and i my option has stolen most of the credits for the changes that has been made. I'm surprised that so many players actually buy into the crap his saying and the propaganda that he gets out. When he doesn't think you see him then he speaks what he really thinks about himself and the power he has and its not a very pretty view. Having that kind of person as chairman of CSM will damage it. I still have to say that Mittani has a place on CSM but not as chairman.
