Wonderfull. THank you for all the input. I am glad to know that I dont have to spend a lot of cash for a laptop that's just going ot be used to update skill training while on the road or at the office.
Thank you all!

"I am not rich, in-fact I am poor! (In-game and In-RL) reduced cost and 2nd hand is ok. I am not looking for Uber, I am just looking for the (very) basic. I want log in and update my training or check my market orders. IÆm not looking for a laptop that I can do fleet ops or pvp. LOW Rez /safemode is fine."

He wants to login and change skills and check the market, he could do this on some of the most pityful machines out.. coincidently just for this i use an IBM Thinkpad T41, i get around 20 fps with that, and it cost me around ú200, so there you go
I am also using a T41....Works good for logging in at school through there restricted firewall just to change skills and set stuff up on the market. Mine was lent to me by a friend, so I dont know how much they are over here.

I'm also shopping for a laptop that plays EVE (not a desktop, I need the laptop for work). I found a reasonably-priced Lenovo that has a nVIDIA Quadro NVS 140M, I just wish someone would tell me if it would play EVE Premium.
I know it's not a gaming card, but I'm not looking for fleet battles either . . . I just want to see the shiny new ships. And I don't know squat about Direct X9 and SM3.

nvs 140m is a modified geforce 8400m designed for proffesional graphics applications like CAD Its directX 10 and has sm3 for sure. Wether it will run eve at acceptable speed I don't know as I never used a 8400 though classic client shouldnt give you any problems.
