Theoretically, if you have access to say a titan and you're not too high up on the totem pole in ur corp/alliance. You are able to pilot the titan and move it without anyone really knowing. would you take it? |

You couldn't reprocess it for the minerals - you can't dock :)

Well...assuming you pull off your Titan heist, where exactly are you going to go? Assuming you successfully cyno out of your Alliance's space and get somewhere like a quiet low-sec system, what are you going to do with it? Ransom it back to your former alliance? Sell it? Play with it for about a day before your buddies show up and blow it up out from under you? ---------------- Tarminic - 31 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.78.2 |

More importantly- what sort of nub would leave an unpiloted titan sitting in space? You log off in the thing...

well , im an alt to a member of a 0.0 alliance with that very opportunity... and i've been pondering for the last couple days whether I should/shouldnt. How if I did decide to, to get it out without suspicion. |

Do it - you would go down in EVE's history as the first (and only?) guy to steal a TITAN. That alone would be worth anything, even if you lose it a day later. ---------------- Tarminic - 31 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.78.2 |

Edited by: Richard Phallus on 28/01/2008 16:32:42 If I were to think about such evil things I'd consider trying to get friendly with your current alliances enemies. Perhaps something like
1. Alt forms corp, main applies to corp 2. steal titan 3. newly formed corp accepts application mains application, corp change with out having to be in a station. ( ) 4. newly formed corp joins enemy alliance as traitorous dog (yarr )
Or I could just be making things up and that may not be possible even.
*edit* yes the actual theft is still your details lol, cyno alt - low sec seems to be the common opinion |

So begins the saga of 'The Great EVE Heist'
This has got to be seen to be believed, are you planning to document the plan and post it, once the heist has been pulled off?
You got to do it, just for the Kudos, dont forget to get FRAPS or something so you can film the corp when they come to get it back ROFL
I know a corp that might offer you safe harbour, deep in 0.0 Sovereign space lol

Edited by: Dirk Magnum on 28/01/2008 16:38:26 Train the Titan skill first ftw. Assuming you don't already have it, how do you plan to get it? Placing an order in the logistics channel or whatever for a Titan book might be a bit suspicious at this point.

Ok , i've been misleading a little. It is not an actual titan but the items mentioned are worth the equivalent of stealing a faction fitted titan. so work of that rather |

Totally do it. Do it now. Make sure to post in CAOD with the list of stuff you stole, and who you took it from. Anything you can't cart off just trash or reprocess (and sell the mins right back to the corp .) I want to come back from class today to hear how a major alliance just died thanks to you.

Well since you woud steal a lot of money but nothing that people haven't done before, keep in mind that you will be known as a simple corp thief, though the size of your heist will put you in the top five. Whatever character pull this off won't be able to join a corporation ever again, most likely, and to avoid suspicion you can't really spend much of the money you make. ---------------- Tarminic - 31 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.78.2 |
