Eh, missioning is perhaps the best reliable way to make ISK in Joe Carebear land.
- Missioning: 10-15m ISK per hour, with good skills and a good ship
- Mining: 10-15m ISK per hour, with a near-max Hulk... IF you have a second account to haul
- Trading: You need a lot of capital to pull in more than 10-15m ISK per hour, and it's dead boring*
- Invention and Production: Don't know jack about this really, except it takes a lot of skill, capital and prep to start being truly profitable
So that's why so many people do missions for a living. You only need one character, the investment even for a CNR is similar in scale to that for a maxed-out Hulk with rigs and implants, it's less boring than mining and not as boring/demanding/risky as trading, and a lot more simple and straightforward than research and invention.
That's my take on it, anyway. People don't like making jack **** in money per hour, which would explain why they grind up to L4s immediately and buy a CNR with their MasterCard.
*Obviously a personal opinion. ________________

Lol @ GTCNR
Me and a friend actually ran lvl 4s at roughly 3mil SP each, I had a scorp with 4 cruise launchers, lows and mids filled with cap upgrades and 2 large remote shield reps, he was in a caracal with a bunch of shield hardeners
A 3mil sp player now could probably run lvl 4s in a drake on his own... if he has the time or GTCs to get one Please resize image to a maximum of 400 x 120, not exceeding 24000 bytes, ty. If you would like further details please mail [email protected] ~Saint |

Well I don't remember how many SP I was when I started doing lvl 4's, but I was pretty low. I was using a sniping megathron with shoot and run tactics. It took me 4 hours to make one mission. Later came the Navythron and the dual officer-reppers and it was a lot easier till the rats started jamming. I quit missioning when that happened, never looked back ever since. |

3 mil SP Raven can do most level 4 missions without warpouts. Well most, there are some that would kill it. It is not very effective ofc, but if pilot knows what he is doing it's still better isk/h than lev 3 missions. I know bcos I did it with my alt. Was using cap injector fueled tank and almost all of that 3 mil SP was in relevant fields assosiated with flying it in lev 4 missions.

the trading income depends alot on how you count... if you spend 5 minutes every other hour (that would take 24 hours to make it one hour playtime) and make one bill... do you make one bill an hour or do you make 1/24 bill an hour?
you can easily make one bill a day playing about an hour a day (a few minutes on a lot of ocations) but as said you need some 5-10 bill to get that kind of flow... wich would take about three months to get... if you know all the modules and so

You can do level 4's in a drake at 1 mill SP. I've done it myself. Takes a while but works easily.

Yep, passive Drake it is. Takes less than 3m SP to be effective and you can Faction-pimp it very effectively too if you don't want to wait for T2 ...
EVE Online: a cold, cruel world where (RL-)rich people replace their losses with GTCs sold to poor students who need to farm ISK to afford their play time ...
