Atm on SISI, apoc lose it's 5% more cap per level and get a 7.5% bonus to optimal of large laser. Anyway the 5% more cap per level seems to be built in, 25% more cap! Apoc get also +1000 pgu good but not enough to fit a fullrack of tachyon and mwd without still 2 RCU T2.
With amarr BS lvl5, optimal range is 200km with scorch and tracking ench/comp t2
Zealot and Omen got a 5th turret slot, but no increase in cpu and pg.
Look good so far, hope to see more

FINALY!!!! they did somethign usefull though they need to up the grid and CPU on the Omen at least

Well one more Turret is good even without the CPU/Powergrid( I would trade in the Drones for the 5. Turret if you get Powergrid/CPU to fit at leats a extra Focused Puls).
With 5 Turrets Zealot/Omen finaly become pure dedicated gun ships, good Range, no Drones/other Gadgets -> way to go.  ---- Nerf Tank - Boost Gank!

Very interesting, at +1k grid that Apoc has much nicer grid, and with the optimal bonus that's a really nice combination.
The 5th turret on the two amarr gun-cruisers certainly improve things, even without the additional PG/CPU.

Excellent changes. I was wondering the other day about making the apoc into a sniper ship.

To be honest, I don't think fitting a full rack of tachyons is supposed to be easy fitting wise.

what kind of optimal do you get with BS 5 on bestnamed pulses with navy multifreq and 2 tracking comps with optimal range scripts?

Im on SISI right now, and these changes ARE visible.
Also, deimos had a low moved to a med.
the Apoc change is pure win, tbh. Not over the top, exactly what it needs to have a role and function in that role.
omen didnt have the cpu/pg to fit a setup with 4 turrets, so 5th turret hardpoint wont help it until thats improved. Zealot will prolly need some tweaking as well.

No its not. It cant do anything else. Its basically defenseless against frig tackle. This change is well deserved because the Zealot has been lacking dps. This is and now rightfully is a pure mid range dominating gank ship. Perfect example of how amarr gunships should be.

You can currently get 400 dps out of a Zealot if you fit with 2 Heat Sinks and use Conflag, 5th turret is 100 more dps (25%). ------------------------------------ |

Your optimal is still 11km base with 5km falloff.
It's not much to add a tracking enhancer and hit at 20km.
My 67% EM 87% Thermal just got melted by a Zealot at 20km range while I tried to MWD towards him in a Deimos and he just kept at range as he was slightly faster, it might not be 500 exactly, but it's close. ------------------------------------ |

Did the change on the apoc affect the paladin as well, or are they leaving it the way it is. Just curious.

Paladin ship bonuses are unchanged, not sure about the other stats.
Anyway, the Zealot is very nice now.
The Omen still needs a huge increase in cpu to be competitive, about 40-50. About 20-50 grid would also be nice.

All those things can be done already very well with the old Zealot...Scorch and mwd...unless the ishtar has tracking disruptor it can only run away, deimos is slower and die.
You can fit as many tracking enchancer as you want ( waste of slot tbh ).
Come on, really already people screaming for a nerf on a ship still in test?

Yes in the zealot that yous say can hit at 20k with conflag... please enlighten me as to what setup your using for that?

Also the Apocalypse got a slightly cpu boost from 500 to 505 aswell
The cap bonus is now built in as said before:
apoc stats on tranq are: 6000 cap at 1154s recharge on sisi now: 7500 cap at 1154s
The navy apoc is not changed

Maybe dont nano everything and maybe use a long range ship to encounter long range ships? You cant expect to be faster then everything, not being able to be hit by anything and outdamaging everything. Its time for gallente to play normal mode instead of the easy mode they have been used to for a long time.

I'm glad they made some changes to the Apoc, Omen and Zaelot.
But I'm a bit sad about losing the special bonus. It was a rather alternative bonus, and I liked it.. as useless as it was. Hope the change is also on the Navy Poc

OMG you lost to an amarr ship in a gallente ship! Stop the presses!
Yes obviously amarr should always lose vs gallente, thats your idea of balance.
