Does anyone know where I can find a comprehensive list of the unique space things in EvE?
(Or post them here)
Like:
- Amarr Academic Monument: Domain//Amarr VIII(Oris), Emperor Family Academy station.
- EvE Gate
Ones I'm looking for:
- The black obelisk (looks like the one from space oddessy) Which system?
- The Creodron? science station that was destroyed Which system?
- There must be loads more!

there is a cathedral (or temple or chappel i dont remeber)in caldari space where ppl get married i dont know the system but some one may.

Monolith is in base 4 radar site, or maybe mag  dont remember anymore.

The Black Obelisk can be found in a lvl2 mission found while running in Blood Raider rat areas.

The monolith is in either Canard or Dead End in orbit around one of the moons, I forget the specifics though.

Thanks for the replies so far. I thought there was also a monument in Minmatar space somewhere, similar to the Amarr Academic monument.

I've seen ruined battlestations within 200km of some gates, forget what systems though. Same things as what appears in missions.

On the way to the Eve gate there are lots of system with ruins and things near stargates,
City Of God also has some ruined monument
knew lots now cant rememeber any

There is a small Minmatar monument to be found at warp in in Pator, planet Matar. not much to look at.. but hey.. it's the home planet..

Actually there are alot of hidden things found arround planets, asteroid belts and moons (just beware in lowsec/0.0 where you warp to, it might have an pos there).
I found floating debris, special npc spawns, archeology and hidden agent sites in various places.
The best way to find the little static ones are to go to an cosmos region and check each asteroid belt, moon and planet in those systems (yes this involves quite some work but once you find something special you will appreciate it more then when someone just gave you an bookmark).
Just wished that the locations often mentioned in pirate ship logs would work again and created little 1x complexes or something useing that specific log as an key.

That is an outstanding idea Thommy. CCP should take that one to heart, it would really add a lot of content and get people flying all over the place. I'd say let the log activate the deadspace pocket upon arrival in the system. that way there could be a market value for ship logs for people looking to do something different.

There is, in Pator, in orbit around Matar. I can't remember what it is called but it looks like one of those asteroid factories you sometimes find in missions - a few asteroids held together with sticks in the middle of a dust cloud.

There seems to be this monument of a guy standing on top of a dome, hodlidng a flag and pointing out into space. IIRC its the same one that appears at the Emperor Family Academy station. I've also seen this at:

Thats a particle accelerator thingy, its actually quite common in some missions/exploration sites...it IS very cool however.

There's something in Sotrentaira ((Lonetrek, I think it was. May have been Raussinen) at moon 2, I think. It was a large collidable object labeled as a "forsaken mining station"

There is a strange fat pink elephant floating around in Genesis region. It jumps around the roid belts, but cant remember exactly where. Sry for the half information, I hope u will see it too, one day...

we used to do sightseeing tours for our new members in my old corp, was a nice way to get the new Pilots to loose their fear for low sec and unknow route travelling, here's a compilation of the sites we used to visit, it's a writeup from our main explorer "Furutsun"

This is Traumark, it sits in a huge bowl of space clouds and is guarded by a small sansha force.

From Traumark I travelled northeast to City of God in Shastal, a rather simple trip since it was all in highsec. Given its name I had high hopes for a city worthy of God even if was in ruin now, but what is left is not a lot.
City Of God 1
After City Of God I plotted a course north through low sec, towards The Myridian Strip. On the way I had a very close call, I exited a jump gate and as I was getting my bearings of my new surroundings I saw a Brutix rapidly approaching the gate to jump through. It was then I noticed it was on a collision course with my cloaked ship. I thought about moving but relised it was too late for that, the Brutix was 6000 meters an closing fast. I looked to my left to find a planet to warp to, quickly engaging warp and missing the ship by 3000 meters or so.
This is Myridian Strip, an old Holiday Resort on the most outer edge of the system. It gives a good view of the star and its planets.

As someone suggested, perhaps an old stargate, so, to find out, I tried flying thru the ring. On my first attemp I bounced off, so i tried going through the other way, and made it through. And you know what happened....
Utterly not a thing, I even tried flying through the original way I bounced off. I went through and, nothing.
I finally got to Vilinnon. I warped to a planet to conduct sensor sweeps, and was nearly attacked by a 40 strong group of Serpentis in Velators. I know... not really a massive threat, but in a Covert ops with the only thing resembeling a weapon was my mining laser, fights I really wanted to avoid.
Serpents Coil 1
They say this was an old Gallente military outpost, But after the Gallente Caldari war, it was abandoned and the Serpentis moved in.
Further north I went up to Isie in Lonetrek, to the R55 Colony Ruins and where the gallactic background is green. On the way I flew through a battle at a gate of a Prophecy under attack by a Serpentis Brutix.

Once a high tech chemical lab, but it was abandonned after an accident where the strorage silos leaked left the facility enveloped in toxic clouds. The Complex sits directly 0.3 AU under the systems star.
Following a tip of about carriers in Yulai I decided to go there. I had two choices, go north again and go through the deadly ecp-8r, or turn about and go south, the choice was quite simple, south.
In Yulai I looked for the carriers, and scanned everywhere, but could not find them, but I did find this...

And thats where I docked to end my journey. I would have visited the Golgothan Field but the Minmatar Navy would have shot me on sight due to my bad standing.

This ancient circular object holds near the Access Gate in Angur, it is protected by Blood Radiers, what possible significance this supposedly inanimate object has to them is a mystery.

Any very unatural looking rock formation in the orbit of Angur III, it is very dark and shiny, perhaps it was created in extreme heat, bit like solidified lava

The Black Monilith, who's info reads "Its Full Of Stars" whatever that means, it rotates slowly in orbit of moon five of the fifth planet of Dead End. Easily the length of 2 or 3 carriers.

At the gate to Dead End is another abandoned mining outpost
EVE_Gate
The Eve gate, and its Star, the whole system glows with radiant light emiting from the colapsed gate. Only a single planet remains in orbit, the others destroyed when the gate colapsed. And the system is littered with cans from those who have visited before and tried to get as close as possible to the gate.

"My God, it's full of stars" is from the movie 2001: A Space Odessey, wich should be mandatory viewing for every pod pilot in EVE.
