baby ****! baby ****! ITS AAAAAAAWRIGHT [/b]
I have never watched this melancholy show, worth the time?
If you're an anime fan, it'll be a breath of fresh air.
If you're not, you'll probably wonder WTF is going on and quit before you realize what its actually about, since much like the novel it doesn't actually reveal to you that its anything but an "ordinary high school story" until about a third of the way through, when everything goes nuts.
Its especially hurt by the fact it was broadcast completely out of order for the purpose of confusing you (DVDs are correct though).
Summary: Its definitely worth watching (its definitely on my top 10 list), but the books are better.

I thought it was quite good that they did this, made it more interesting because there were refferences to things that hadn't happened almost the whole time. Made more sense in 12345 order but 52341 was more enjoyable.

The only reason it was "good" was because the way the series was broadcast put the climax at the end. Otherwise, it was just pointless confusing the viewer in a way completely untrue to the original novels, IMO.
