Personally I always wait at least an hour to log back in if there's a server reboot in the evening (GMT).

Quote: Hi, been playing for 2 days. All was going fine but for the last hour or so we have had lag (stopped) and a re-boot, and since re-boot, lag (stopped) or continual 'Entering Space' message.
I'm not being impatient but thought I would ask if this was the norm in Eve cos if it is I can't see any point in converting the trial account into a $$$ account.
I'm hoping you will all shout back saying this is a one off or happens very rarely.
It has been happening more and more lately. I've been playing Eve since June of last year, and it seems ever couple of months there is a bad spell of lag-outs and re-boots.
Probably due to the recent influx of new players.
However, I would say that SOMETHING had better be done about this soon. Its getting to the point where I can't count on being online for more than half hour or an hour at a time without a crash or a reboot. And its not my connection, the other computer in my house is online constantly with no problem.
CCP had better add some more nodes or whatever soon, or start feeding the hamsters that power their servers better.

I figure it's just another reason to buy your first decent ship and get the hell out of 1.0 systems :D
The high traffic in those makes it harder to "tune into subspace" there, or so I noticed over my vast experience of *cough* 4 days playing :D :) I haven't had much lag per se...
From a player who just converted trial to $$, I say "stay if you see enough that you like". There will be problems, that's pretty much a given - but just think, it means the userbase is growing :) -------

You moaning because something happens "every couple of months" geeze some people are just never satisfied. I'd understand if it was happening every day but a bad spot every couple of months thats pretty damn good going in the network/server world.
As for your constant crashes and reboots maybe its YOUR system not EVE? You tried uninstalling eve and reinstalling it? Checked you got the latest drivers? Defragged your hard drive? Maybe Windoze is messed up and needs a clean install? I'm saying this as if it was EVE server that made you need to reboot then it would be affecting a high percentage of subscribers and they would be on here moaning to. The above text is my own views which may not represent my corps views.
