1.Very few routes in to 0.0, all of which have at least 15 people waiting for you on the other side. With a warp bubble.
2.You donÆt have to kiss anyoneÆs ass to enter any system in empire.
If I had routes to go rat in 0.0 over low sec, the question would be then, why doesn't anyone enter low sec anymore.
I been able to twice now autopilot through stain, curse, great wildlands and molden heath in my pod and not once hit a gatecamp or roving band. Makes me wonder why I was ever afraid of 0.0. now I just say. its probably safer than low sec. -Sky Grunthor

*Conquers all of the south*
That was helpful. I wouldn't pat myself too much on the back because my alliance is full of braggarts and asshats who are touting an accomplishment they haven't actually achieved yet.
Maybe that's why I'm not in Goonswarm.

*looks for CAOD* I think you're in the wrong forum.
A little late in coming, because I registered this thread as a fail almost immediately, but...
Perhaps you should train reading up a bit. Get it to at least level 3 then try again.
You see I was responding (notice the quote) to someone from Goonswarm who made a reference to "conquering all of the south."
I suppose you don't want to flame goonies for not being in the correct forum do you?
I didn't think so.
You fail.
Next.

I dont think the problem lays in that those who live in 0.0 are unbeatable, its just that those who live out in 0.0 are commited to staying out there, IE there hard core into eve and willing to deal with all the logistical issues of effectively running an empire.
The advantage of living in empire space is that a player can be much more casual about their experience there. There is no call to protect your empire from an invading navy, or concern over the recent skill book shortage, or anything like that. In empire you dont have to worry about losing territory, never having what you need and so forth, but the disadvantage is that you dont get to fly certain ships, dont get to build your own stations and so forth. Many people in empire space wouldnt be able to do that in the first place so for them there is no real desire to go into 0.0 beyond just to visit.

Man I miss the golden days of Privateers...
CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |
