Edited by: TruthKeeper on 08/02/2008 00:52:44 Great game. It's like a non-MMO Eve Online, the best thing is that in there I don't have to wait 18 hours before a fleet fight begins...... I really love Sins of a Solar Empire. 2 thumbs up!!!

Originally by: Meiyang Lee According to the CEO of Stardock no major publishers were willing to take the game on, fearing there wouldn't be a market for a space game. But they're now negotiating with a smaller one hoping for a store release in a few months.
Hehe, true. But I bet Frogboy (the boss at Stardock) is receiving a LOT of emails now from european distributors: accordin to Amazon.com, Sins of a Solar Empire is the 2nd best sellin game of the week in the whole U.S. land. Pretty impressive for an indy game. Today I had my 2nd mp game: map was small with 19 planets and I was the Vasari race, all my research spent on aggressive military upgrades. After 3 hours of play, the T.E.C. player spanked me with his uber economic facilities who let him have and sustain a large capital fleet. I had great fun. Everybody do yourself a favour and try Sins of a Solar Empire!

After the stellar selling of SSE, he can easily afford to buy an helicopter. Anyway, let's talk about a cool feature of SSE: if you have a group of friends you are able to start a game on a huge map and whenever you want you can save your game and resume it later. This way very long games can be divided and played on different game sessions with the same players.....neat feature, isn't it?

Gamespot review is out and they gave it 9. Here's a bit of it: "In sum, Sins of a Solar Empire is an absolute must-have if you enjoy strategy games. It's an addictive, deep game that elevates space strategy to new levels. At the same time, it provides a fresh, original take on one of the oldest and most revered subgenres in all of strategy gaming." Go Sins!!!
