I don't hid my addiction at all. Heck my desk at work screams "I PLAY EVE!". I would take a picture but...that would get me fired. Lets just say that when someone gets curious about EvE at my work (happens more than one would think) they come and ask me about it.

Nah I don't hide my EvE career, and I wouldn't call myself a nerd or even a geek for that matter. I just like how in EvE you can make people cry and get rewarded for it. Oh yeah and cruising around in a rifter with The Cramps blaring has kinda become my new prozac of choice. |

I don't hide it at all, from whatever game I play, I'll tell those bastards on vent I have to change my training queue rq and they can wait 20minutes while I change queue then bullshit with some odd corp mate for the rest of the duration. But then the people on vent get mad and tell me to hurry up and I'm sure you know how it is from there.

Not ashamed at all and i love to talk to others about eve. Its one of the few mmo's that intrigues non gamers.
If people arent ashamed of being sports fans, we shouldnt be ashamed of being a gamers. We participate in our hobby, how many sports fans just sit there passivly and watch other people game and never participate in their hobby? |

No. I don't hide it. I lord my ability to play EVE over the WoWtards and the SWTOR addicts. I ramble about it on twitter and tumblr. I talk about it with my DnD group. (And if they make fun, they WILL be docked XP. I am a wrathful DM sometimes.)
I'm not going to pretend it's not an addiction. I can't quit it. I may want to sometimes. I may go weeks without doing anything other than checking my skill queue, but I come back to it. There's always a bigger ship to fly, support skills to train, etc. |

Not really, i view Eve the same as i view fishing or golf, but a lot cheaper. Most grownups i know don't even bother what sort of a hobby the other person does in his freetime. They have their own thing, i have mine, simple as that. |
