The aforementioned carrier pilot was a moron, was doing it solo, and is no longer a part of my organization (thank God)...
As for the Navy Mega, I have no clue as to what you are talking about, so here is where I insert the "proof or stfu" comment
and RHN would much rather prefer to lose a carrier once a year than troll the forums like an abused hooker whining until they find someone who gives a damn...

Edited by: Elsebeth Rhiannon on 08/02/2008 10:21:02 In case it is unclear to someone still, in my capacity of a diplomat I have to bring some seriousness into this very entertaining thread and to let you know that no, the reason of this war dec is not Jenner's manhood (not much there to declare over, anyway, judging from his talk). Though confusing me and Evanda in matters of pleasure... might be a reason for shots among some more hot-headed pilots, of itself.
Jenner's bunch of merry smacktalkers are griefers, ore-thieves, harassers of rookies and industrials, and general petty criminals in Republic high security space. While it is true that we usually want to concentrate our patrolling efforts on pirates who actually amount to something and provide a challenge, there is only so much noise we can ignore from these even lower scum. Jenner's crossed the line -- I guess that is an achievement of itself. They could, even if it sounds improbable, be even pettier.
As to station-camping... we can do that. We are not in this for to score kill points, anyway. If it stops their operations and annoys them, it's a victory.
Free hint of the day: if you think 100 million is Big Isk for an alliance with a strong industrial backbone, you might want to refrain from playing a Big Guy in public. You will only make yourself look like a fool.

Maybe you can learn from this! You see, so far you have wardecced industrial corporations half of your size. That's not the way to go if you enjoy wasting your gear. They do not, after all, provide much gankage of you but instead you have to take the far more boring role of ganking them! Edited by: Elsebeth Rhiannon on 09/02/2008 21:35:18 When roughly a day of the war has passed, the loss statistics are:
* Misfits Enterprises, 9 ships (5 frigates, 2 cruises, 1 battlecruiser, 1 shuttle) and 4 pods lost * Electus Matari, no losses
(Yes, we know, the ratio of pod to ship losses is surprisingly high. But that is how the numbers currently stand.)
We estimate the total losses to MFE to be about 40 million, which is really not anything, but since they have obviously opted to not flying anything more expensive as long as the war is on, we do not expect this to get much more significant with time.
Two pilots have left Misfits Enterprises during the initial 24 hours of the war. This is a wise choice, and EM has no interest in pursuing them as long as they refrain from further criminal activities in Republic space. Same courtesy will be extended to any member of MFE, including Mr Jenner: leave, and refrain from breaking the laws again, and we will let you go.
Next report will follow in the end of the first week of war.

2 Pilots that left, would have been 2 pilots tht no longer hold capsuleer licenses. You forgot to factor in insurrance payouts in your numbers and the "thieving" operations you so fiercly try to pin on the corp, well they're a pasttime anyways. We've yet to undock 1 ship fitted for proper combat so thank you for taking out our trash. My ransom demands still hold firm at 2 billion isk. Oh and good job getting one of your pilots oblitterated by Concord we found that quite humorus, Kellax laughed so hard he decided to come back to the corp almost immediately instead of running his errands. The smack will pesist, the ships youpop will continue to be of no value, and frankly we enjoy the lolfest. And frankly, you can shove your laws about as far up your exhaust ports as Revan's head is up her own...

I'm afraid that neither Drakthor Shadoxes nor Thr... lost their capsuleer licenses. Nor did the person (Thora...) who left shortly before the war. Nor did KeLLaX, who seems to be rather afraid of being shot at after his loss. (Names anonymized to protect possibly innocent people)
Quote: We've yet to undock 1 ship fitted for proper combat so thank you for taking out our trash.
Oh, for your information: In the corp interface, "war" tab, you can see the losses of your corp. I recommend taking a second look at the Kestrel on 2008-02-08 21:04:00 (5m in modules), Vexor on 2008-02-09 05:31:00 (15m in modules), and your Ferox on 2008-02-09 18:25:00 (20m in modules).
But yes, it's trash, and we are happy to take it out for you.
Quote: Oh and good job getting one of your pilots oblitterated by Concord we found that quite humorus, Kellax laughed so hard he decided to come back to the corp almost immediately instead of running his errands.
45 minutes later, indeed. To leave again nine hours later. And to rejoin. And to leave again. The war must be so fun for you guys if he's so afraid to stay in the corp.
That Rifter loss was a heavy blow to our morale. Luckily, CONCORD realized the technical problems in the overview systems that lead to this mistake and are discussing refunding the ship.
But all of this is incidental. As you guys happen to enjoy the interior of stations most of the time, you have barely any time to continue your "pastime" in Ammold and surrounding systems. Thus, we are quite happy to report that our goal of reducing your crime activity is currently going well. Anything beyond that is an added bonus.

Edited by: Elsebeth Rhiannon on 10/02/2008 09:40:48 Apologies for forgetting the Rifter loss from the war report. As it was not a kill by Misfits but by CONCORD due to trickstery, it did not show on the war statistics in our internal book-keeping. For the sake of completeness, I have added it to the report now.
Quote: We've yet to undock 1 ship fitted for proper combat
This much is true. The Ferox was a good try (if you ignore the fact that it was a Ferox), considering the information you had, but it too still needs work, and of course assuming the situation will not change was a big mistake.

Well, to be fair, there are some merits on the entertainment side. It's not every day you see republic patriots in a position where they can legitimately claim military superiority. It's all about enjoying even the minor amusements in life, I guess. And to be fair, that tidbit does border on the downright hilarious. _____________________________ Fear is the mind-killer.

To be completely honest, the situations where we the superiority is not quite as obvious as in this one are both more fun and more useful as training.
But as I said earlier, some points need to be made. Just because a crime is done by someone way less skillful and infinitely more gutless than our regular opponents, does not mean it is not a crime.

I think that after the display from the leadership of MFE in this annoucenement, Electus Matari can pretty much claim superiority on any count, and in any situation during this war.

Actually, if you knew anything, I booted that usless twit Thora, and her friend Drakthor, and her SISTER Val from my corporation due to personal issues, IE found a better place to get my rocks off, friends and family went too becasue I'm not in the mood for whiny adolescents. I did quite enjoy however taking everything they had in corporate storage and leaving them on the curb with nothing. Kellax isn't AFRAID of anything, he's just moving some ******ely expensive gear for us as well as making sure you remain law abiding citizens, which so far you're failing. So then what happened last night? I do recall chasing the last of you out of Isendeldik BY MYSELF. Funny how your entire gang couldn't handle 2 measly battlecruisers in a yet again stacked fight in your favor. Also you neglect that while one of your pilots was in system I ran around in my Worm flipping cans, 11 in total. Seems your not doing such a hot job now are ya?

While it is true that we usually want to concentrate our patrolling efforts on pirates who actually amount to something and provide a challenge, there is only so much noise we can ignore from these even lower scum. However, if I may, I would like to respond solely upon a specific part of your missive.
I, Trip Jenner, am neither griefer, smack-talker, ore-thief nor harrasser. A Jenner I am. Any of the above-mentioned, I am not. I cannot speak for my brothers, Joker or Outlaw, but can only say that some weeks in the past, due to other circumstances moved myself out of range of the fighting, for the reason of remaining outside of the testosterone fights, the mud-slinging and the back-stabbing.
If this war must continue, I ask only that I be left alone--of my involvement in this war's occurrence, all may rest assured that I will never be found within kilometers of any figure, singular or many, involved therein.
Having taken a neutral stance away from my Brothers, I remain Jenner, and still shall be distanced from it, as well, until these fights are reduced to dust and ashes.

Edited by: Elsebeth Rhiannon on 15/02/2008 15:27:15 After about a week of the active war, the loss statistics are as follows:
Misfits Enterprises: * 2 battlecruisers * 2 cruisers * 1 destroyer * 7 frigates * 3 shuttles * 9 pods
Electus Matari * 1 destroyer * 1 frigate (lost to CONCORD for corp unjoin trick)
We estimate Misfits Enterprises losses in isk at about 93 million, Electus Matari's at about one million.
Misfits operations in Republic space have practically ceased. The corporation is down to six members (from 26).
We have had frequent contacts from former Misfits inquiring whether we will continue aggression towards them after they are out, and explaining that they were not aware of the crimes of their leaders. Considering that, we want to state this: we will not pursue any former member of Misfits Enterprises simply because they are Misfits. We will, however, keep up war declarations on "griefer" corporations in Republic space, so we recommend you pick your company more carefully next time.
Outlaw Jenner's explanation to the diminishing numbers is that he is moving to Deklein and has just "kicked all his noobs" who are not up to that kind of space yet. If this indeed is true, we wish Mr Jenner a good fresh new start out of Republic space.
For to emphasize the point, the war will continue another week.
My personal apologies to other members of Jenner clan for generalizing without contact to clan leaders. That was uncalled-for.

The petty criminal actions of some corporations against new and inexperienced pilots is both disgusting and uncalled for.
Corporations that engage in this sort of behavior should be subject to a loss of CONCORD defense in high security. At the very least, a discounted war dec price.

Whilst Outlaw Jenner has a somewhat uncouth air for my personal liking, and a tendency to be rather 'outspoken' I'd hardly describe him, or Misfits, as a terrifying blight upon the face of the cluster.
Could someone from EM enlighten us?

Good question, and I am sorry if I was not clear on this before.
Electus Matari is an alliance loyal to the Minmatar Republic. Our job is to defend the Republic, to strengthen her industry, and to assist local authorities in upholding the laws. In the last capacity, the vast majority of our work consists of warding off pirates in low security systems and fighting back illegal aggression by Amarrian paramilitaries.
However, ore theft and baiting rookie pilots to destroy their ships are also crimes. That they are pettier does not mean that they are less immoral or more legal. We as a sizable alliance happen to be by circumstances used to a situation where we are in a constant low-activity war, and we can afford using 50 million isk a week for to allow our pilots to fire also on these more cowardly high security criminals.
The Misfits kills reported constitute only a fraction of our total kills of criminals during these past two weeks. Normal operations have not been disrupted by taking them out.
Hope this clarifies the matter.

Thank-you for clarifying this, although I must admit to a certain degree of confusion as I believe Mr Jenner has in the past been a quite vocal denouncer of the Amarrain paramilitary sects and therefore - whilst his piratical activies not with standing - seems quite closely aligned to your ideology.
I personally am no fan of emotive responses to the loss of ships, and I think in this example Id be silently grateful to Mt Jenner's band for teaching a novice pilot the risks of falling for baited traps and psychological warfare. Having spent some time berating said pilot for his, or her, lack of discipline Id be inclined to leave it at that. After all, if you dec every corporation that has the temerity to destroy one of your ships how on earth does one get anything worthwhile done?

Edited by: Elsebeth Rhiannon on 21/02/2008 16:10:36 It is a common misconception that all Minmatar are simply about killing Amarr and nothing else, and that if someone just shoots some Amarrians, we should consider them friendly. But Electus Matari are not anti-Amarr, we are pro-Republic. Killing slavers does not excuse crimes in Republic space. See for example this link for further explanation of the differences between the Matari major alliances.
Moreover, this is not about Outlaw Jenner killing our pilots. They never did, apart from the one kill mentioned in the reports above. This is about them spending their time hanging around academies and baiting just any random rookie pilot of the tribes, and ore theft, and smacktalk afterwards.
