The fact that we (and yes I see this issue all the time, like right now for instance....) continually have to wait in a queue to log into the game has nothing to do with a person's connectivity. (Those of you who suggested that as the problem should consider boning up on your basic understanding of how this whole "internet" thing works before you shoot your mouth off).
Instead what we're seeing here is the classic scenario that has happened to every MMO I've ever played. Companies try to maximize profits by stuffing as many users as possible onto the fewest servers possible. When you do that, eventually someone will take it in the shorts.
Paranoid is quite right in wondering why he can't expect to log on at will given that his payment for this game is expected promptly on a monthly basis.
An outage or some other "one-off" issue is one thing. Night after night of having to wait to log on is nothing short of CCP making extra dough by minimizing their investment in our experience.

Ok, so I'm assuming you folks are CCP employees at this point.
But since you'll inevitably come back saying you're not....
Why are you defending CCP and trying to make it seem like it's ok that they lack the capacity to service all of the people who are paying a subscription to them?
It's not a question of how much they would owe us if they reimbursed based on queue time. It's a matter of paying for a service and then not being able to use the service you're paying for.
If you went to a concert and found that they over-sold the event and that you would have to wait for 50 people to leave before you could go in, would you be so vocal in defending the organizers of the event?
Of course not. You'd be ****ed and you'd be completely justified.
This topic is entirely too clear cut for your view to be lent any sort of credence. We're paying to play the game. We can't play the game because CCP has chosen not to expand their infrastructure as their user-base has grown. Continue to play the contrarian if you like but there's really no rational position on the other side of this argument.

Ya that's probably it.
I'm probably just doing something wrong every night (peak playing times) which is causing me to land in a queue, but I somehow get it right every morning (off-peak playing times) when I log in to switch skill trainings.
Good call.
My bad.

Not sure where you got this info but I'd suggest you check your facts.
Peak gaming happens 7-10 pm. Web traffic gets big and stays big pretty much all day long: 7 am to 6 pm. The graphs typically look like a big long plateau.
Evening gaming traffic doesn't begin to approach regular day time throughput.

Also the peak internet traffic goes on far past 6pm mate after eveerone gets home from works and start browsing. Check you own shaped replies as the Point Stands. Plus way to ignore everything else that was posted.
You people are fabulous. An unending wealth of nonsense. My point was well and clearly made early in this thread. If you're still missing it, scroll up. Also, you've horked your time period math, I'm not going to explain it again. Once again, just scroll up and consider reading more slowly this time.
Compound that with the fact that you have summarily failed to even construct a coherent sentence in the quoted post..........god why do I bother with this crap.
Anyway look, on a completely different note. It's "you're". Not "your", "You're!" Compound of "you" and "are". It's not that hard and frankly it is hard to take you seriously when you missed that big ol' magical boat back in grade school.
Look guys, have fun. I'm done with this silly convo. It's clear CCP doesn't monitor these threads in an effort to react to the needs of their user-base (here's another completely undefensible point for those of you who feel the need to mindlessly defend CCP) so there's little point in continuing the discussion.
Send me some eve mail in game eh? May you could say something witty and yet totally devastating to my ego like: "your and idiot"
