Well, so maybe in meanwhile, i could make a little diary here.
Thursday 14th of february 5 connection losses in 4 hours.
Or should i stop playing during next weeks or month?
I know it's not helpful whining of this. But it hurts if someone plays only one game and can't play it cause the losses are too much.
I only have less time after work and only some time at weekend to play.
I really hope CCP influence a fast solution in this case.
Mr Fledermaus
PS: Please ganker and sniper, if you see me don't shoot at me, till you really sure i am online.
Theres allways someone who knows more....

German User from bavaria same problem here disconnect very frequently while internetconnection is stable otherwise, only eve looses connection since quiet a period of time now. I maybe overdid it but i wrote a long story to t-online, telekom and to the guys from http://www.de-cix.net according this problem including some pingplotter results. Hope there will be any kind of reaction (f.e "yes we know whats going on we will fix this in next 12h":)

I think they know what it is, thing is, CCP can't fix the internet... We probably have to trust limelight on this one... _

At this time, there are three threads at this forum and three or four at the german one on the disco-problem caused by the router in Frankfurt.. Would be good to know where CCP will post it's News about it..
@gm: By the way, whats the status atm? Do you already have a response from Lvl 3? How long will this Problem go on? Because even though youre not responsible for it, Eve is rendered kinda unplayable for a lot of players in Europe..

I was on for about 4 hours last night, with 3 accounts. I got about 5 disconnects, but each time it happened it was one session at a time, with the other 2 working fine. It eventually disconnected all 3 clients, but never at the same time. Don't know what to make of it.

Today is the first day in about a week that the coldfront graph doesn't show sudden drops in TQ population indicating massive disconnects, and also the first day that the shape of the day graph no longer shows extreme weirdness from bogus numbers reported in the Eve login screen's status, which I believe is what coldfront uses to develop their graphs.
It seems that CCP did something good about the disco problems. It would be nice to hear from them about what they found and what they did.

Absence of incessant disconnects seems to be continuing. This is a Very Good Thing. Since large-scale discos seemed to have at least two very different identifiable causes, this strongly suggests that CCP addressed both, or has had an incredible run of dumb luck since Feb 15. I suspect they took steps and it would be nice to hear what they did, what they found, what they fixed.

I've got massive packetloss similar if not identical to problems posted previously. Link for pingplotter.
Link for crosspost in Known Issues (same thread linked by Mitnal).
Recurring problems eh? |

Same thing here in Japan. This is the first time I've experienced a poor connection. Petitioned it.
It's been going on since around 8 or 9 GMT I think. |

I'm also in the UK and I've been getting very frequent disconnects that make it impossible to do anything. Internet and other online things are not effected. (using Firefox).
Almost lost my Omen when I DC'd while 0.0 Ratting. Logged back on and escaped with 2% Structure. Then DC'd in a safespot.

Ok i`m on Virgin fibre optic cable near portsmouth. Today disconnects far worse than ever seen here, i`m literally dropping 4+ times an hr. Both pc`s have same problem but never lose actual internet connection just connection to eve.
Lot of people talking about this today and having same issues with more or less frequency. I`m not pointing the finger at u guys at CCP but there obv is a pretty general problem here geographically which suggests its a connection close to ur servers as i cant see how so many people would have issues.
Not had it this bad before this is nasty and pretty much unplayable rite now sadly.

At least Tiscali, Nildram and Pipex are all having network problems (could possibly be BT at the heart of it all) and they are dropping alot of packets of information before it gets routed to the destination. I am measuring about 70-80% packet loss in my connections which would deff make eve crash out.
I can only login for about 60s at a time before being dropped, I am also having alot of problems getting reliable web browsing. I have a ticket raised with Nildram but I am not holding my breath that it is fixed before tomorrow.
If it is BT at the center of the problems it will affect quite a few ADSL customers from different ISP's but sofar I only know of Pipex (includes Nildram that now uses some of their network) and Tiscali (their network is just **** normally) that have massive problems.

East Coast USA. Dropping connection at random, rubber banding effect when transisioning to/from warp often and much longer than normal delays for doing day-to-day chores. In general my client just feels out of step with the server.
