I took a vacation for a month and got scolded by my travelling buddys for checking in on EVE while in Thailand. Going on 5 years.

They were just jealous that you had fancy virtual bling bling and they didn¦t. Did you point them to an EVE Trial Account and made them mine for you for 3 months in turn for a thorax? I mean what else is there to do in Thailand except ...well..things I better not mention and jungles that are too hot, and beaches where you get sunburned etc?

I bought the retail box at the end of 2003 but did not load up the game until December 2005!!! (Blame UO for that one!)

Hmm... I thought it was only four years but after a bit of counting on my fingers I realised that I'm probably five years now. Joined up in the last beta phase around January 2003.

5 years on 25 may 2008 for this character. Started playing in mid-late beta, but not too much cause I couldn't get the text, just saw all these little white blocks. And people complain about the bugs now :P

Almost 4 years come April 3rd but will not make it sub runs out FEB 28th been a fun run thats for sure. hope it gets better for you all

i was 4 last november i think, i had a forced break of a few months when i moved with no net access, but no other breaks :)

April 27th this year will mark 4 years in Eve for me, but there were a couple of breaks - one financial (too poor for internet, let alone Eve. That was hell) and one because I wasn't having fun. But I came back. Actual time in game is more like 3 1/2 years, as of my character's 4th anniversary of joining the greater pod pilot community.
Here's to 4 more years for you, F'nog. I can't wait to see what that time will hold for Eve. Certainly hoping I'll be around for it.
