Who else has been here 4+ years without a break?

I have been playing since Beta 4. Start in retail the first day of the US release. Going for 82 million SP.

Bug Hunter in beta. Addicted to EVE like it was a schedule 1 drug after retail launch. Hired at CCP August 2004 as a junior designer. Became Lead Designer August 2007. A day doesn't go by where I'm not thinking about how EVE could be improved.

Was in beta2 phase. Was so buggy and lagged in nVidia cards back then (Riva128) that login screen killed my computer. Few times I managed to log in and was greeted by exceptional windows.
Beta3 rolled in and was bit better. Joined some random corp and mined Bistot in frigate at some 0.1 system trying to save for cruiser .. but eventually got bored out of my skull and left.
Obtained first EVE account around 10-2003 and made char but .. 2 months was enuf for me back then.
Made my first own account 8-2004 and have been training since then (60m SP just broke).
Offtopic: I was beta tester of Neocron back then too but because EVE was sucky, I focused on Neocron and played that for years.

I'll have been here four years in five day's time. I've taken a week off here and there but never a 'proper' break. I joined up when it became obvious to me that e&b was going to die. I managed to drag at least one other bloke with me (someone I used to work with) and we're both still here.
What I find most startling is that my second-account char (bought as part of the original ^2 promotion) that I still think of as an alt now has nearly 50mil SP.
I did try the beta but I found myself stuck out in the middle of nowhere with a dead market and a huge distance to go to find anyone. The font was too small to read and I gave up.

OMG, I may have to check through my various multiple personalities, but Andrue may be one of them. Though I did bring more people from EnB than you. So maybe you're not one of me. I'll still have to check.
And I originally started in Beta 5, but didn't bother to pay to play until Feb 12, 2004.

Do you still play the game much? As CCP member, you probably have many restrictions.
Also, if you are truely addicted to EVE as a player, you should understand game balnce issues better than someone like Zulupark. Who's he anyway? how long has he been playing?

April 27th this year will mark 4 years in Eve for me, but there were a couple of breaks - one financial (too poor for internet, let alone Eve. That was hell) and one because I wasn't having fun. But I came back. Actual time in game is more like 3 1/2 years, as of my character's 4th anniversary of joining the greater pod pilot community.
Here's to 4 more years for you, F'nog. I can't wait to see what that time will hold for Eve. Certainly hoping I'll be around for it.
