- Promised profit was 43% over three months, ~14% monthly.
- First payout was 28b.

If I get this correctly, the 3 options imply the following:

Option 1: We get another 50b now, adding up to 78b. IPO will then be closed and we get 8b or 11.4% in profits (2.28% monthly if you take march->july into account).

Option 2: We get 38.6b (the 2nd payment plus the missing ISK from the first one), with no guaranteed final payment. At this point we would be at a loss of around 4.9% and would have to hope for a final payment that might never happen.

Option 3: We get 17b now (how do you make up that number btw, is that your current profit at this stage?), adding up to 45b, or an even higher loss of 36.7%. You then promise a final dividend payment until end of 2008. This means - if you are able pay out the full remaining 55b until that date - we'll get a monthly dividend of 4.77% (43% over nine months). Again, that might not happen at all.

So we have one option that lets us get out 'now' with a small profit (but at least no loss), and we can put that ISK elsewhere. On the other side we have two options that will put us at a loss and tie up our ISK for longer than originally planned, but with the slight hope for another dividend in the future. I have two questions:


1.) Did I understand these options correctly? Are any of my numbers wrong?

What makes you think that the prices for motherships/titans will 'recover' and allow you to pay the full promised dividends at a later date?


At the moment I'm thinking something like "I'd be lucky to get out of this without a loss", so I'm very tempted to vote for option 1. However, I don't want to rush that decision, so I'd like to have these two questions answered before I vote.

And honestly, did you not realise 2008 would be the year of the Titan spam? Titans will continue to be sold at 65-75b, and Moms are frequently sold in below-cost firesales, too.

Now one area that you might want to investigate is actually buying these firesale supercaps and reselling them higher, as that is one profit centre you can capitalise on... those firesales are up there because the owners need ISK, and need ISK badly and quick.

I'm not 100% sure any of the plans have really been thought through enough expecting the market to continue as it is. Can you provide a little more detail of your plan of attack based on a continuation of the suppressed market, so we have a better idea?

When voting, I also noticed a closed CDRE vote from 12/06 which had similar options...did you have a similar problem back then, have any of your previous IPOs gone full term?

Quite frankly I'm somewhat disappointed, particularly as CyberDyne had such a good rep...first the lack of communication around the expected 2nd payment date and now this bombshell. Nevertheless option 1 is the most appealing to me, I can use the ISK for other things.

2. Send and EVEMAIL to "Loney Clone" with the NUMBER of shares you transfered.

3. Once the Transfered Share Amounts are confirmed from the Shareholder list I will send the ISK (5,000 per share)to the character that transfered them.
