It takes into account all your mining, refining and production skills. The only thing it doesn't do yet is anything post-exodus - so you won't find the new ore variants, strip miners, barges, ice etc in there yet.
It's not a scam. I've been a happy customer of this sheet for a long time now. The e-mail distribution method is very slow though, and does require T'el not to be on holiday/busy with RL/ill/suffering computer failure etc. Would be nice if T'el could find a secure way of making this downloadable, rather than relying on the email system. |

Mmm, thinking about this, I'm sure you could get some sort of macro/script to take a master copy of the sheet, give it an individualised password and dump the two out somewhere. If it worked of a pre-prepared list of e-mail addresses and passwords (which could themselves be script-generated), you might even be able to get it to make the unique-passworded copy, attach it to a standard email template, insert the unique password and mail out automatically. Sure, would still take a while to send out that many emails, but at least that would just be computer time, not user time. |

[7] Great sheet T'el, been using it for months and not sure what I'd do without it! I do have one feature suggestion though, for the research tab, largely stemming from the ever-increasing cost of renting labs. It's effectively a calculation of the highest economically-viable ME level if you are researching a BPO to produce off. For this, you'd need several user-entered numbers. Specifically: break-even sales (BES): the amount of runs you have to do to get back in mineral savings the money you invested in renting the lab for research. Current lab rent (CLR): self-explanatory From these numbers, and the time per ME research run (TRR) from the BP database, you can calculate the breakeven marginal cost (BMC) as: BMC = (CLR*TRR/(5 days))/BES Your sheet can already calculate the mineral cost saving of going between specified ME levels, which is the only other data you need. You then just need to do an iterative search to find the highest ME level for which the saving for researching that level over the level before is greater than the BMC. That is your highest economically viable ME level with the selected break-even sales and lab price. |
