killing 20 caps doesn't really make much difference when they are all replaced 3 days later. furthermore, its not like you killed that big a portion of the fleet in the first place.
Ok, can we do it again then ? :)
Yup, respect for ppl who dont smack.

Tri is notorious for its high participation numbers so that alone gives you guys a good advantage against many opponents, then you have ATF who while not providing MASSIVE support, have been offering 10-20 pilots to your fleets at times.
We have RK, and then a few smash, a few semper fi, a few fang etc etc. Atlas has been a huge ally so far, I will say that though.
So far the fight has been pretty damn even number wise imo, TZs aside.
It just bugs me to see people whining about how many allies we have when tbh the numbers on both sides have been more or less on par with eachother.
NOT INTENDING ON SMACKING
isn't that just a lil' pathetic ? a few alliances cant even outnumber one. I mean really, how many alts/carebears do you guys have or just plain not active people in your lil' coalition? and your combined capital fleet of 20+ ships , you lost a big chunk , do yous even have a big enough capital fleet capable of fighting tri for sov anymore? From the activity of your members that i've seen so far i'm gonna say probably not.
once again , i'm just asking questions but they do seem like smack , SORRY , truth hurts
Can't help but answer this since I lived it back in '05 when we were fighting RA/Goons etc.
Lets try to compared replacing a carrier back then with now shall we?
2005 way. 1. Die. 2. Emo, emo, emo, emo Guitar solo. 3. ***** about lack of other capitals on the field (10 together was a HUGH fleet) 4. Angst and anger. 5. Acceptance. 6. Go to 0.0 GOOD system (remember no drones back then) pray for hauler spawn/officer spawn. 7. Look on escrow for carrier, find none. 8. Curse (no not the region) 9. Go to alliance, ask about capital ship builders. Find 2, backed up for the next 5 years. 10. Go to forums. 11. Find capital seller, usually backed up for 3+ weeks. 12. Wait 3 weeks with plenty of isk, yet no ship. 13. Get fittings 14. Fit ship when ready, go back into the fray.
Lets look at 2008. 1. Die 2. Laugh, after all lag is 10x worse as back then. 3. While in pod/station open contracts, type in "carrier for your race" 4. 100+ appear. 5. Pick cheapest and closest, hit accept. 6. Fit carrier from jita fittings, re-enter fray 2 days later if it was late when you died.
Yup, this loss is horrendous. We better give up and give our stuff to others and go play 'Hello-kitty-adventure islandÖ'
Back in 05 this woulda been an alliance killer like it was for ERA. Today it's like losing 20 battleships in late 04. It's a little annoying, but that's about it, annoying.
You guys are in the same boat, lose 20 capitals. Your close to jita, bam replaced in a day.
*shrugs*
Call it pathetic if that floats your boat.

We said that in LV, it hurt morale more than it hurt our wallets and we all know what wins wars!
ts was upbeat and we were joking around afterwards. Plus lv died a year ago and you couldn't replace a carrier and reinsure it for the insurance payment then. And lv had shinra and was at a disadvantage from the start.
TS was upbeat, however, everyone knew how much of a failure cascade the beginning of the campaign was.
Also your right, we couldn't replace a carrier, we just had anough funds to biuld a couple of titans...
LV was formed by shinra, and in the early stages, no offence to the other LV corps, but we were the capital fleet, we fielded more dreads/ carriers + battleships than all of your coalition combined, this was in 2006, and we were one corp. We were also nothing on such corps as ATUK and Outbreak, which just goes to show how far down the food chain you guys are.
I heard you lost a mothership the other day also.

So.... a little birdy tells me that Smashkill asked for Insurgency's help against TRI yesterday
Apparently Peoke offered them Fade as the spoils of war, and threatened them if they didnt help, but that didnt go down very well with Insurgency....

pfft what a noobs, peoke isnt much involved in this, hes tobusy mining veldspar
and the bad thingh about loosing the 20 caps is that they couldnt do **** because of the lagg, gooing down fighting is nice, gooing down dooing nothingh isnt o.0
i do wonder why leadership diddnt decide to go after a outpost system as they diddnt had cynojammers online so would have been very easy to get caps in, but ooh wel, planning isnt rly a strong point on oure side
let yust hope ccp boost the nodes abit so all can have funn abit .

Yet your in Itto-Ryu and no alliance this morning, change of heart? Against the posting rules of your corp? Fun? Pretty good strong point :p
20 caps isn't a fleet, I have more than that in my corp, considering most were carriers. And we weren't even there, nor were we supposed to be. We had 20 caps back when there was 300 members between us, now, anyones guess
But feel free to smack people you know nothing about. You can't hold a tower in 0.0 let alone a region with 20 caps anymore.

For some people yes, keep in mind we haven't hit any POS into reinforced, but have destroyed 2, and we haven't put any in any station systems. We're not after their space. (And by we I mean Smash/R0adkill/Atlas/Chaos).
Quote: I'm pretty sure your aim at the moment is to eliminate the triumvirate alliance, the alliance mail that was sent to you guys said something along the lines of:
Quote:
"TRI have brought this upon themselves, we are flexing our muscles and showing EVE we can take out larger alliances and better pvp'rs than FREGE."
The bits in bold, i think are your aims. Dunno about you?
Nothing remotely like that in alliance mail, I think you must have another alliance.
Triumvirate are in everyone else's space every other day, I don't think anyone's accused them of trying to take it over since YouWhat. They like to roam, they hate fleet battles. I've watched as they put their corp taxes up to 100% just to get members to show up to anything fleet related. The reality is most don't care, and the senior leadership doesn't even live in Deklein. To the outsider (and even some of the insiders) Triumvirate is acting like an alliance that doesn't have space already. They are nothing like any other alliance out there.

It's sad that people do not remember how RK fight, how RK always have fought. We have lost many battles, many ships. That's _always_ been the case. The reason why is because we are relentless in the way we attack, God's Army has thirty guys next door to 100, he jumps in with 30 and fights, sure we probably may lose that fight - but we always come back. Those who have fought us for extended periods of time know that we always get a new fleet and come back to fight again, and again, and again.
If you thought this campaign was over because we lost a bunch of spaceships, then think again.
