LMAO Yeah, Me and Stavros were tryin to get your attention on TS at the time, you were camping stations in your sleep.... was pretty funny when you think back, embarrasing though.
Has to be autopilot for me though i think, fortuntately when we still had the 10sec invul.. I;d warp out from being shot up by a load of people, or just run a blockade. Then autopilot warps me right back in... DOH!

No kidding! When I was new in my Raven me and Stan Bowman had a 1vs1, him in his Megathron. Well It was very early in the morning and I had stayed up almost all night long the whole week. So we start fighting and I use my Raven exactly how I would have used my Tempest (1st mistake). Of course I had set up the Raven for a completely different strategy.
Well Stan had his low slots full or mostly full of cap relays so he could recharge his shields easily. I sat there like an idiot and let his guns rip me apart. When I realized that he was definitely going to win the battle I stopped attacking and started heading to the gate (2nd mistake). I was confident that I would be able to survive the 1 minute that's required before jumping. I had my mwd disabled and decided to turn it on to get me to the gate quickly (3rd mistake). The gate had only been 13km away and at the end of a minute I would have been in jump range without the use of the mwd.
Well I get to the gate and continue to try to jump until my ship is destoyed. I kept gettings messages saying either I couldn't jump because of a hostility or that a jump was in progress (change session bug). One minute and 4 seconds after I had stopped firing, I lost my ship. Even though the 1 minute had passed, I couldn't jump due to the change session.
If I had used the Raven in the manner that I set it up for I may have won the battle. If I had warped away instead of trying to get to the gate I could have let my shields and cap recharge then tried to fight again. If I hadn't used my mwd, I would have had plenty of cap to keep my shield booster going so that I could last until that change session was over. All those if's.....
Well after losing my ship in this manner and then only getting 2 hours of sleep, I was very grumpy at work, lol.
Props to Stan, you had a very nice setup there for a Megathron. I never expected a 'Thron to do that well against a Raven.

I think that damn near everyone has fallen asleep at one point in time.I can count a few times jumpin 55 jumps to kill some NVA (when they were there) and falling asleep at the helm loosing at ship right at jumpin.With my freinds yellin in ts PAT WAKE UP!!!! ahahaha

when i was a n00b i had loaded my Kestrel with FoF lights and the same with a corp buddy. We went out to a 0.4 to pratice pvp on each other. the fight didn't last long, well it never started
it was kinda like a players sig i read awhile back.
FoF stands for, "Fire! Oh F*ck

Can't say this was pirating, but it was pretty dumb...
Running around in HLW with 2 mwds precastor against some 8 evolution in my scorp, outran them for a good 20mins, had a few beers an was laughing an then I didn't realise that I hit the speed tab an lowered my ship speed down. Outside of a station I shot at one of them in a blackbird before I was target jammed, an the rest of them warped in. I MWD about 150km's away an was wondering why I wasn't going anywhere futher with 2 mwds like I just did 5mins before an ran outta cap, an died.
I cried exploit :P I'll admit to that but that was only because I didn't realise that I hit the slow speed button till I was at work wondering wtf happened more closely. I ended up laughing at how stupid it was an didn't really care afterwards.

Went a few jumps to kill a black nova indy in outer ring's arm, and since I wanted to save on ammo I brought only Heavy FOFs trying to kill an indy, and then I wondered why my launchers would not fire.

I was camping in hed-gp with a few other ca peeps, me being the scrambling frigate, in an Incursus. I see a someone's pod warp to a planet, so i follow it! He's actually there, so i warpscramble & web, pressed F1,F2,F3  ...
"You do not have the required power! you need 95% capacitor to..." - my guns were offline So i had to get one of the battleships that were still on the gate to come pod the guy for me. Battleship flies over, kills pod...then i notice the scout drone in my dronebay. D'oh

Well, I was sat camping a gate with some corp m8s in mi BB, had sensor booster running hit the warp scrambler/webbifier (just in case).
I have 2 PCs and flicked the mouse for the Eve PC outta the way, to my horror I caught the mouse button, targetted the gate, scrambled it/webbed it and didnt last long with the SGs. Gave everone in my corp a good laugh anyway :)

My dumest mistake would also be going against a Megathron with my scorp...I wasnt setup for jamming and I got wasted.
Basicly a megathron will own anything 1 vs 1 if your not setup correctly to go against it.
Lesson we learn..what we do after that makes all the difference.
