Trusted a corp to a 1vs1 battle, ended up waiting 30mins then when their player jumps in he brings a bs with him and blows my blackbird up, was lucky to escape in my pod.

He was nearly dead from our 'weakening' him, and some NPCs spawned. We decided to clear out the NPCs to protect our victim, but WarHound forgot to change targets, and destroyed the battleship instead of the NPCs. Negotiator	Posted - 2004.04.01 19:14:00 - [11] Ok, me and TWD are fighting these guys in curse - im in a scorp, TWD in an apoc vs apoc, tempest and a bb. We warp in like 70km away or something, start a long-ass firefight and i can barely keep up with cycle jamming. BB takes heavy damage and starts warping in and out. So for like the 4th time it warps in and TWD is like ok jamm the bb. So i start jamming. And i still see the red square around it. So im like WTF THIS BB HAS 16 GRAVI??? Then i saw that i was actualy jamming the tempest. Also jumping in to a .5 a brand new raven with a pre-made bookmark wasn't the brightest idea, but thats not PvP.

The sentries were eating me, but I got him and warped out, recharged my sheilds and went back for the loot, got away with just a little damage to my armor. I left and went to the next system. Then before enough time had passed, I jumped back into the same system, and my POI of that system was the same station, by the time my screen loaded, my scorp was toast. No insurance, was a great learning experiance. _________________________________________________________
Drogon	Posted - 2004.04.01 20:12:00 - [13] ok me (typhoon) and 2 other guys (scorp & tempest) get a report that 2 m0o are in a2 ... we head out ... the scorp jumps into kiara (1 jump up from a2 .2sec system)first. apparently masiah's apoc had engaged the scorp. i come out of warp and start unloading on masiah as the sentry guns are also hitting him. he warps away and i switch targets to ghost437. apparently, ghost hadnt done any acts of aggression . he warp scrambled me and ate my typhoon alive with the help of the sentry guns /me still misses that typhoon Director, Divine Retribution

I did it because judging by how these guys kept coming after our cruisers with their battleship fleets, they must be really desperate for some PvP, so I felt sorry for them and let them kill us. Your 425mm Prototype I Gauss Gun perfectly strikes some nublar, wrecking for 1155.0 damage.

To make things worse people in paladins and biomass used to say never to go through there and on this occasion I was making some****y half arsed comment obout the navy and concord when it happened

Don't think I need to tell that my Scorp was dead by the time my screen loaded. Lost my Caracal in a fight against 2 BB because of the autopilot aswell.

Was battleship loss #2 2nd worst was the time I opened fire on a cruiser in Keberz (which was .5, completely forgot where I was) - narrowly escaped that Edit - Oh, and the first time I was ever in an empire space 0.0 system, I thought you could shoot people like non empire 0.0. I was travelling from curse to dock at this station near a bunch of miners, to refit. I had 2 mwds, one ab and a WD on, and I saw a maller 70k away. This was pre-Castor, so I could get up to a pretty decent speed. I flipped all my speed mods and steared to ram the maller as fast as I could with my tachyons going, knew it wouldnt kill him, but I wanted a laugh - I got one salvo off before he spun madly out of control (and out of my target lock range) - in range of the sentries. Made it out with under 500 structure - pooti and I thought it was hilarious. Good times

We regrouped and I made the cal we should gang warp to the gate real fast to surprise them and try to kill them all. I had lost some armor in the previous battle and was saying on TS that now I would die, and I would die today since in the last 3 days I had lost armor at least once every day. When we landed at the gate they had regrouped. I was first target and lost my Tempest in micro seconds. But in the 4 days before that I was in over 33 battleship kills that we claimed from Xetic and I keept saying "Pay me ISK" in local. I think they were mad at me *Spawn of the Devil*

Talking about wrecking hits damages, till at some point i got wrecked real nice and started typing again in local, having completely forgotten that i had not maneuvred around the incomming salvo of 6 cruise. No mercy for the stupid ones. I was docked and i knew they were waiting for me to undock so i logged back in with an alt to check the station and yes they were all there in battleships like 40 km from the station . So i decided to make a run for it so i could come back and tackle with them for a better angle . What i feared the most was that when undocking my ship would go really fast and get me close to them and that would have taken me longer to aling to my bookmark . Usually when i undock smoothly im already aligned to that bookmark . Anyway the worst happen , i undock , got jammed , ship was almost destroyed , i ctd'ed and log back at the station in my blackbird . Thats where my mistake happen . I wanted to log back in with al alt to see if they were still there .... i hit exit station instead of ESC to log out ... got jammed lost the bb no clone thank god i ejected and save the pod :P ------------------------ <Beeth> Girls are like internet domain names, the ones I like are already taken. <honx> well, you can stil get one from a strange country :-P

AwiL	Posted - 2004.04.02 21:04:00 - [43] was messing around back in the old days with c0w. we were camping a gate in atlar. i was up close to the gate in a frigate, while others were safely 60k away. whenever someone jumped in i gained a target lock and pretty much just hoped for them to shoot at me instead of the actual people shooting them. well one time i got a target lock...leaned back in my chair...all the f-keys got depressed by my comp desk. sentries got me in seconds...from that point on i have high slot modules set to ctrl + f-key. i've done the shooting a person you think is in ur corp while in range of sentries thing. also in ennur got a rupture stolen by sentries thinking i was free to engage. done the auto-repeat thing. countless times had people warp out on me when i had a nice warp scrambler on em. funniest time was when i was running a 86.25% webber and couldn't figure out for 2 minuts why a frigate was still going 3000+ m/s. done the attack within sentries range..got out... autopiloted back to the same gate the moral of the post...mar!jauna causes slows the thinking process "We gon' bring it to anyone that wants it...You want it? Evidently this scorp pilot had no idea what he was doing, but we jammed him and wj'd him and were laying into him with torps and cruise. 10 minutes later, we had him down to his partial hull only and......we ran out of missiles. The luckiest day of his life, because it was being caught on fraps and he was about to make the clip of the week. 2) a long time ago we tried our hand at bounty hunting in the catch/curse area...especially near HED-GP. We had around 5 cruisers camped at a gate a few jumps from HED. Someone warps in and we start to engage them.... Only problem is that we were so bored waiting that we had locked each other and were firing on one another. Well, the guy gets away and one of our own guys had been firing on another friendly cruiser the whole time. It was badly damaged. Needless to say the graba$$ during boring times was stopped at that point. ------------------------------------------------

Talking about wrecking hits damages, till at some point i got wrecked real nice and started typing again in local, having completely forgotten that i had not maneuvred around the incomming salvo of 6 cruise. I got fried before i managed to finish the sentence. ey, that was me lol. The gate had only been 13km away and at the end of a minute I would have been in jump range without the use of the mwd. Well I get to the gate and continue to try to jump until my ship is destoyed. I kept gettings messages saying either I couldn't jump because of a hostility or that a jump was in progress (change session bug). One minute and 4 seconds after I had stopped firing, I lost my ship. Even though the 1 minute had passed, I couldn't jump due to the change session. If I had used the Raven in the manner that I set it up for I may have won the battle. If I had warped away instead of trying to get to the gate I could have let my shields and cap recharge then tried to fight again. If I hadn't used my mwd, I would have had plenty of cap to keep my shield booster going so that I could last until that change session was over. All those if's..... Well after losing my ship in this manner and then only getting 2 hours of sleep, I was very grumpy at work, lol. Props to Stan, you had a very nice setup there for a Megathron. I never expected a 'Thron to do that well against a Raven.

Running around in HLW with 2 mwds precastor against some 8 evolution in my scorp, outran them for a good 20mins, had a few beers an was laughing an then I didn't realise that I hit the speed tab an lowered my ship speed down. Outside of a station I shot at one of them in a blackbird before I was target jammed, an the rest of them warped in. I MWD about 150km's away an was wondering why I wasn't going anywhere futher with 2 mwds like I just did 5mins before an ran outta cap, an died. I cried exploit :P I'll admit to that but that was only because I didn't realise that I hit the slow speed button till I was at work wondering wtf happened more closely. I see a someone's pod warp to a planet, so i follow it! He's actually there, so i warpscramble & web, pressed F1,F2,F3 ... "You do not have the required power! you need 95% capacitor to..." - my guns were offline So i had to get one of the battleships that were still on the gate to come pod the guy for me. Battleship flies over, kills pod...then i notice the scout drone in my dronebay. D'oh

I have 2 PCs and flicked the mouse for the Eve PC outta the way, to my horror I caught the mouse button, targetted the gate, scrambled it/webbed it and didnt last long with the SGs. Gave everone in my corp a good laugh anyway :) Fismo
