OK, how's this:
A couple of corporations (who I won't name), realising that killing me in empire space isn't easy, have come to ''agreements'' with me not to steal their ore.
Now that got me thinking. I'm sure in the forums you'll all want to flame me, but have you considered the benefits of the ''Tenaj mining pass''? For a VERY reasonable fee i'll leave your cans alone for a set period of time (or perhaps you'd like to try my lifetime membership deals?)
''It's just too good to be true'' I hear you all cry..........but wait, there's more!!
Want a rival's mining op disrupted? For a nominal fee I can either steal from or destroy your rival's (or buddies) cans.
I'll go and don my asbestos underwear while you warm up those flamethrowers, but for those of you who might be tempted, convo or eve mail me in game. Confidentiality assured.

I would also like to offer this "NTA" (Non theft agreement), to anyone intersted.
If you are mad at us for taking your ore, and do not have the time or wherewithall for a corp war to stop us, then we would be more then happy to work out a mutally beneifical agreement, similiar to what Tenaj described.
Just sorry you beat me to the punch Tenaj, I was thinking this very thing last night, when a corp approached me, and asked me to stop stealing their ore.
May as well make some income off of it.
Let me know, feel free to contact me in game!

I have an up-to all day pass around the Lumi, Yulai, Amarr Area. Its 150k or you die trying to stop me from taking it... its a small price to pay but I am very serious and very honest at being a thief ( sound wierd doesn't it? ) Once you pay your good for the remaider of time before DT so it might be 1 minute long or it might be 24 hours long... but its same price.
Convo me ingame for details.

Hiya Vogon. How are you?
I came across the idea by accident really, a couple of corps approached me looking for an 'agreeable solution' to the problems I cause, and I wondered if anybody else was interested. As you and I know too well, 99% of them are too stubborn and greedy to pay me so I'm sure there will always be some sport left for us. I just want to make people aware that I'm willing to compromise if they want to mine in peace.

No thanks. The NPC's corps. charge enough to refine as it is.
Miners bothered by these lamers might try forming gangs for protection and moving to a less secure system.
Paying blackmail only encourages it. --------------

Nice name though.
I don't pick up jettisoned containers from any ship that is not cruiser or battleship based. I don't steal from noobs. I just operate (atm) in 0.5/0.6. One of my goals is to bring respect back to the lost art of ore thieving. I consider it a service to the community. If you don't want to pay the tax... use secure ccs, have a hauler working next to you, or just move to a lower security where you can defend your cans with extreme prejudice. I just give the miner an option for their own benefit.

ahh my little ore thievers...i know one day i'm gonna be seing you boys ransoming the right way. i.e. ships not ore. but gg for now keep up the good work boys.
note to all you strip miners in empire. if you have a cruiser you should be in atleast .1-.4 the npc's aren't sh!t. and anyone flying a battleship should be mining in <=.4 there's no reason for you guys to be wrecking the belts for the newbies. just try it out for a week. maybe ur balls will drop finally.
p.s. these gentlemenly ore thieves don't bother me why you ask? cause i live in 0.0 where the real eve begins. b-vip is the way to hell my friend...

yeah but every time that alt drops below -2.5 your gonna have to get another one. and attacking in >.4 systems is gonna do that quick. too much hassle for me personally, just leave your little safety net of >=.5 man. eve wasn't made to be a mining simulator.

I too do not steal from noobs, we need them to grow up into better miners so there is more to go around!
The loan frigate in 1.0 pfft who needs that?
I steal from corps in Crusiers/BS strip mining in .5,.6,.7. Thats where the most profit is!

You know, I can have respect for the guy who pod me without reason. I was not prepared, had bad luck, was outgunned, or simply outclassed. No matters, the guy got me, fine with that. That's the game. I can even have some respect for those who make all their living by mining in secured space. Hell, if they love mining so much, that's their problem. That's he game too.
Now, I can't have respect for someone actually exploiting games mechanism to get the money of other players without taking some risk. Ok, they jettison it, they are faulty. But if I would be an ore thief, I wouldn't come here to claim it. You can turn all the ways you want, it is basicelly a proof of your lame mentality.
Mmmh. I feeded the troll... shame on me
