An Abaddon with tachyons and 3x tracking enhancer get¦s 167 km Optimal +25 km falloff. The damage is nice but the cap is a huge problem!
The abaddon is a joke as a fleet ship.. even with cap charges it¦s not good (and cap charges don¦t work well in lag) And you still need 2x RCU II to fit some Tachyons. I think many people would fit megabeams, but Megabeams are really bad(only 152km optimal +20 falloff with 3x tracking enhancers).
But well a tanked fleet Abaddon is really nice when your name beginns with A or Z

I want to see your setup for the abaddon that gest 250km range with tachyons.
Quote: besides a warp in point of a max of 100km will just make it even worse which means effectively the rokh will not even need it' s bonus at all to reach the range it needs.
No you ******, standard fleet engagement range is 180km, not 100km. Its called a covert ops making sniper spots.
Quote: if they wanted to make range as an advantise they would need to increase warp in range and locking range to 500km +- thereby also adding a tactical element (although warp as it is now would need a bit of work).
What are you smoking? Nothing can reach past 300km(and only the rokh can reach 300km).
Quote: ps. intelligence is not the same as knowledge, which you clearly think since you're saying the fact that i don'twrite my third languesh fluently and without error's makes me stupid.
You clearly have no knowledge of this game either. Go away troll.

sigh first of if you use rigs and else just pure range and t2 of cause, the abbadon will hit around 300km +- and the rokh almost 400. soo stfu.
uhh OH is there REALLY a cov up O.o no ****!! ertard.... i am talking about how redicules it is that you can't warp in at the range YOU want to, it is a SPACE game FFS.. how ******** is that...
ps. this is not a nerf but a boost to all other, since there should be a gun for every race that is this one "tier" higher I declare war on stupidity |

Edited by: Agil TradeAlt on 04/03/2008 01:05:57 I love these threads. The ones where all ships have infinate grid/cpu etc, and infinate cap to calculate damage. For example, it is possible to produce a graph with 8 heatsinks in a tach geddon, but its impossible to fit one.
Man, if tach used 100000000 cap per shot, your chats would say the same things.
I think a fair chart is a damage over time for a realistically fitted ship. Most amarr ships have to fit 1-2 less damage mods due to having the need for more fitting mods. And if the pilot wants damage over time, he has to drop other mods to fit cap recharge mods.
Also damage over time over a 10-20min period is more realistic to work out average dps. High DPS/Aplha is only useful for ganks where cap, ammo, race etc dont matter. I mean, 50 ships killing a hauler is not exactly proof a ship is OMG because of the first volly or first second of damage.
