Anyone here remember the Babylon 5 film 'Third Space'? I would not be surprised if it were not something similar. How great would it be if say 'invaders' appeared who turn out to be EvE's human ancestors! That which does not kill us makes us stronger. The Universe is ruled by three basic principles- Matter, Energy and Enlightened Self-Interest! |

My theory! This 'star' is the first of many strange sightings across the universe of EVE. We will shortly see new long missions to investigate the sightings. Eventually first contact is made with a race of parasites, spawned originally by Jovian scientists to maintain their space stations while they were occupied elsewhere. These parasites have rabbit-like bodies but their claws and had resemble that of the ancient Earth creature, the 'Aardvark'. The parasites were genetically designed to think for themselves so they could adapt to any new damage or waste within the stations. Their method of communication was at first unknown and deemed irrelevant by the Jovian scientists, until they became aggressive and malicious towards their handlers. 3 years after regional distribution of the parasites, a Galentean sociologist published a paper on the behavior of 50 of the most common 'domestic' animals; though many believed his interpretation of the term domestic to be somewhat odd. His paper included 3 pages on the parasites, identifying odd behavior and the assumed method of subsonic communication. A few years past... Nothing wants to be a slave; the last reports of the parasites was that they had stopped obeying the orders of their owners unless their immediate habitat was threatened. 13 hours after the mass celebration of 'free life day' had ended, 33 stations across multiple regions had their hull integrity breached by hundreds of small bore holes all leading directly outwards to space. The stations were evacuated, thankfully nobody was hurt. Reports came out that the only remains of the parasites were their dens covered in an unusual radioactive plasma. ..........
Because I'm so eager to play in the ambulation environment the story will continue inside the stations where pilots are confronted by infrequent station breaches by savage breeds of the parasite. They may occur while they are walking through the corridor to the war room or while nobody is in the station and the first to enter are greeted by a new population. The pilots then have to kill them with their personal safety pistol (different based on race), and block up the hole they came in through... leading to all kinds of puzzles and extra content :P (this could go so many ways so I'll put my imagination to rest now) oh.. but before I do, instead of a pistol they could use fisticuffs... that would look cool.. or they only get 5 bullets then they have to use fisticuffs.. even better........ oh.. couldn't help that bit!
----------- I just thought that I'd jump on the bandwagon and make a story ... I do hope however, that CCP will look at this post and say "ooh that's good, we'll do something like that".

I pray to god that isnt the case...A white hole has another name...THE BIG BANG. If it was such a thing it would eventually wipe out all life within its radius. NOT a good thing.

I unfortunately do not know that reference. I only know what a white hole has been refered to in real life scientific circles. If this was what they claimed where ever the heck it is there will be a LOT of destruction.

Actually i read up on it. The theory i have stated is one of the newer ones on what a white hole is. There are multiple theories on this but still the key thing has not been addressed. Where the heck is it?

Where did you read this exactly? A theoretical white hole and the event that caused the Big Bang are entirely different...
White Hole = Converse of a black hole, a singularity that constantly emits energy Big Bang = The event that started as an infinitely small point of energy and exploded outward, expanding space and creating the universe ---------------- Tarminic - 32 Million SP in Forum Warfare Play EVE: Downtime Madness v0.78.3 |

Well, in a way he's right. You don't know for certain that if this theoretical point emitting energy doesn't throw out all this energy in a massive BANG. Nobody has ever actually witnessed one, you can't say for certain what it is.
Theories behind them may be different, doesn't mean the real thing (if they exist/existed at all) aren't the same. |

Yeah, but then it would be expanding instead of sitting there emitting radiation.

Well from inital research and triangulations, using a basic knowlege of singularity theory Atarvin and Delta Jax have provided a hypothesis on the location of the new whitehole in relation to several measurements, we estimate its existance approximatly 18,580,000,000 au's 'Zero' orbital mills above above the City of God - Shastal.
