So much for the 'killer blow' - least convincing 'victory' to date?

General Windypops Skullduggery Inc	Posted - 2008.02.20 22:41:00 - [1] Edited by: General Windypops on 20/02/2008 22:42:15 So, RA and their pets gloated and crowed for months about giving us the 'mother of all victories' against BoB, and had all the firepower you could wish for at their disposal in the assault of Delve. Yet it's been weeks now, and there have been no decisive victories at all from the Crowalition. BoB, on the other hand, have destroyed their Titans and supercaps against incredible odds and have utterly cemented their place in our history as the most impressive alliance this game has ever known. Momentum and morale is slipping daily on the Coalition side, with alliances like MM giving up and moving out. Goons are getting more and more angry and have stooped to an all time low in metagaming. Sumilarly, participation on the coalition side is also at an all time low. What happend to the crushing defeat of BoB? Why, even with overwhelming numbers, are the weeks dragging on with no sign of an end? ~-= Winner of the COAD Buns of Steel award, 2006 and 2007 =-~

Everything that has been accomplished by anyone is tainted by lag because of how it completely affects all aspects of planning and execution of objectives. LV might not have been defeated in JV1V, F-T would be a completely different story, and so on. BoB is a very competent entity they know how to fight in lag as well or better then anyone else. Its not surprising really what they are doing in delve. -------------------------------------------------

We are, currently, dismantling piece-by-piece what you describe as "the most impressive alliance this game has ever known", and what others have described as "omnipotence itself". Why rush it? Personally, I take great satisfaction knowing that today, fewer BoB pilots will log in to fight. Tomorrow, even fewer will log in. Next week, I may dock my ship in NOL, but if it takes two weeks, it doesn't matter. We will not lose because we didn't kill them fast enough. Savor these moments, in six months, they will be a memory, but their effect may well last forever.
