Since the last patch a change occured in the exe file of EVE.
When i enter the game (after char selection) i get the warning "CCP ExeFile is trying to monitor your system to observe what events are occurring". If i deny it access the game runs as always.
What is this about? |

if your using zonelabs firewall then thats completely normal, anytime an exe is modified or changed it will reset its trust level. It needs to monitor keystrokes/activities so you can type your password to log in.

What program gives that warning? --- This is your Captain speaking. Thank you for flying with our spaceline. Please remain seated until the ship has completely burned out. Thank you. |

That is exactly what i use. Guess that explains the warning. Thanks for the heads up. |

Actually, it doesn't need to monitor them in a way that triggers that zonealarm warning to run normally. That generally only appears if the program is trying to capture global actions, not just actions directed at the application specifically.
Given this, and around when the client started triggering it, I suspect this is being caused by the push-to-talk key feature on eve voice. ------- There is no magic Wand of Fixing, and it is not powered by forum whines. |
