Brings up another question.
What's the point of regular dictors when you have HICs?

Regular dictors are a fraction of the cost and can still run around like idiots after dumping a bubble.

Regular 'dictors can drop a bubble near a gate and jump through to slow down a following gang. And, on paper at least, they're better at taking down small, fast ships like 'Ceptors.
And they're cheap. -------------------- "I am hard pressed on my right; my centre is giving way; situation excellent; I am attacking." - Ferdinand Foch at the Battle of the Marne |

They better jump through before they get agro from firing the bubble.

lol
Besides that, the HIC doesn't need ammo to open a bubble. Could be handy in 0.0

Why would aggro from dropping a bubble matter? It's not like the gate guns will pop them.

Question about warp disruption probes.
Can they be killed. Maybe by smartbombs???
Note: question is about wdp not mobile warp bubles.

I think smartbombs can kill them but I'm not certain. I'm fairly certain that you cannot target them though. -------------------- "I am hard pressed on my right; my centre is giving way; situation excellent; I am attacking." - Ferdinand Foch at the Battle of the Marne |

Maybe because it was already answered? With the focusing script loaded they can operate in empire, tackling super caps in lowsec and putting an infinite point scram on **** while fielding a massive tank.

A friend of mine uses an Onyx to tank in level 4 missions.
Works great, but DPS is a bit low. Works best with a partner to add DPS.

Correct me if im wrong [and i'm not], but you cant use dictor bubbles in empire space. At all. In any way shape or form. The only place they are useful is in 0.0.
Heavy Dictors can use a focused infinipoint script in empire space. So using your own argument, HIC's are MORE USEFUL than dictors.
Did you even think before you posted this dumb question.

Well, mine goes 2.7km/s, which is good enough . The thing only costs under 20M to kit out now anyway.

Focused Warp Disruption Script
It turns the bubble that emanates from your ship into an infinite point warp disruptor on a target; even working against titans
