Otherwise, my gf hates eve, because it looks dull and dark for her, not enogh bright colours, no clear blue sky. Its hard to have such atmosphere in a space game, maybe infinity will *****down on that with their planetery flight.

Once upon a time ... over on the Planetside forums ... there were a couple of 12 year old boys who had chick characters. Someone asked one of them in game - if he was really a chick ... and he said yes ... After that - they went out and got some pictures of some of their cute neighbors who were in their late teens to early twenties and posted those ... saying that it was them. They continued this masquerade ... developing relationships with some of the guys on the boards ... for a good ... long ... while.
Then ... they posted what they'd done with their real pictures laughing at everyone they'd fooled.
After getting roundly flamed ... they started apologizing ...
But ... the point is ... unless you hear their voices on team speak or know them in person ... pictures prove nothing ...
Years back ... when the web was relatively new ... I got a phone call from a friend of mine asking if something she had read on the internet was true. My reply was:
"Well ... you're first clue that it's false ... is that you read it on the internet ..."
It's just bad policy to believe anything you see on the internet.
Again ... it doesn't mean it's all lies ... there are some relatively good references on the net ... but it's a question of starting off assuming it's a lie until proven otherwise.

Hell, want a good example of a beautiful woman who plays eve, look at the old ASCN alliance... one of the major capital productions people was a woman, her husband was a kick ass pvp pilot too if memory serves.

I remember Sophieee and Sofiee or whatever they called themselves from Planetside. They were pretty much in the minority though. Most of the "girls" were actually girls.

Putting pics of someone on the forum proves nothing. You can swipe those off of dozens of sites.
Posting pics or even better video of a girl actually playing EvE gives you more credibility.

I went to Fanfest this last year. By my rough count, 1200 attendees. Not counting the wives-n-girlfriends program (but you ladies rock, for putting up with spaceship nerds addicted enough to drag you to Iceland) there was about 30 active women player there.
30 players, who decided to go to ICELAND in November. Alot of lady players I am sure were not so keen on going for the same reasons as everyone else (money, vacation time, and the climate!).
I admit it was a bit weird going (alone) and walking in the first day (looking for my in-game friends who actually had a cardboard sign looking for me!). I got over it, started making friends, ended up picking up a crew of folks I keep up with since I got back.
Anyone who plays with teamspeak, in a bigger corp will hear a woman sooner or later though. We exist, and we're not ALL guys faking for isk in game :P
A picture from the Women's forum in Reykjavik - Women Gamers of Eve Eve TV filmed us, but never saw that go up anywhere.
