Everybody buy exhumers, insure, put basic miners or miner I on them, no tank or anything else unless you have some 50mm plates from loot sitting around. Send them to mine veldspar and go watch tv. Check once an hour.
The point is to have so many exhumers mining they will have to bring the whole swarm to suicide them. Meanwhile BoB and the other alliances take over their nullsec space

hehe
now that I think of it, actually any alliance interested on taking over goon territory should give away exhumers in highsec to keep goons away blowing themselves up

yeah i can see how keeping away 1% of an alliance is going to totally wreck their 0.0 strategy it's brilliant why didn't anyone else come up with this first

Or you could just mine semi-afk in a pimped up mining t1 battleship and never again worry about risk. The number of would-be ore thieves will dwindle a lot as well. Unless you need ice that is.
Battleship mining is underrated.

The goal here is to spawn exhumers to belts faster than they can suicide them as a blow to their moral. You may even make money out of it with the insurance payout. As an added bonus you get to sell some tritanium and kill rights against a goon.
--- 1. Mine in Exhumer 2. Get suicide ganked by goons 3. ???? 4. PROFIT! |

Turdswarm suicides are like every other fad, popular at first, but eventually it will subside. There have been numnerous instances of suiciding in the past, and those who adapt will benefit.
I suggest mining inside missions instead of regular belts. The penalty is the same if they find you, but it will take more effort and patience (something I doubt most of the ADD-plagued GS members have much of).
I find it funny that Zombie Inc. was banned for essentially doing the exact same thing, albeit taken to the highest level. Perhaps it's time for CCP to consider banning GoonSwarm to protect their game from abuse?
I am sure suiciding will eventually be nerfed, and thus EVE looses some of it's charm.
In games and sport there will always be people who think it's okay to do whatever they want as long as the specific game mechanics or rules dont prohibit it.
They are what eventually destroys games. Development resources are diverted from new content, into fixing loopholes that only become a problem when organized abuse took place (as in the case of Zombie Inc. and now GoonSwarm).
So simply file a petition with CCP EACH AND EVERY time you loose a ship to suicides. Tell them "look I know it's not against the rules, I just think it's unfunny".
If you really want to help then help cleam up our forums. An each time you see a goonswarm (or other spammer) post with no content, simply report it. State your business, argue your case, and dont get cought up in rejections. It DOES help. Look at the number of Goons tempbanned
They have to learn that breaking the unwritten rules and behaving like idiots does not go unpunished.

If you are old enough to remember the Zombie event, then, how dare you compare that to normal suicide attacks?

The sec hit for shooting a can, which also gets CONCORD's attention, is pretty small.
CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |
