I made an assumption based on facts (ya know like the fact he obviously plays a different style of game based on his terminology) and if he plays and likes that style of game EvE is quite different from them and he might not like it based on the other fact that most others dont (ie the fact Fantasy style MMO's have millons more subs than EvE ). Im sorry I can make logical conclusions and not just rabble rabble rabble in peoples faces without a seconds thought like you, oh woe is me. Don't be turned away, you made it this far and that is a good thing. There is only one class in this game and it is called you. There are over 200,000 unique you classes running around in this game. If that piques your interest then maybe this game could be worth some investment of time by you. I understand what you mean by the word class and how it applies in many games. In this game what you start with is a starting core skill set and in time you can improve or acquire other skill sets. There might be a road less traveled you could choose, but there isn't a road denied and that is what makes Eve special. Truth is Truth

A friend stopped doing raids after binding a macro for 'shoot a shadowbolt at the main tank's target' and spending four hours one day clicking that one button. ---- Anything less is wasted effort

So when I'm flying my frigate I'm a "tackler" and when I'm flying my electronic warfare ship I'm doing electronic warfare and when I'm in a barge I'm a miner. These don't really equate to the standard MMORPG classes but they are "jobs" you can do. The difference in EVE is that you can switch jobs by switching ships.
